Pewsey Downs Car Park
If you like nature and maybe photography as well then there are some beautiful walks with amazing views from Pewsey Downs Car Park. After a nice long walk I can recommend to pop into Honeystreet Mill Cafe afterwards for a nice hot drink, or something to eat. A lovely cafe right by the canal. We have had lunch and breakfast there now and never been disappointed. The cafe is dog friendly, too.

This is a great spot for a walk, there’s shorter and longer options but whatever you choose the views are amazing. The car park can get busy at weekends

This is a nice place to park amongst the Pewsey Downs, you can take various routes to walk in this very picturesque area,on our walk there was a little bit of mist which was restricting our view,on a clear day you can see for miles,we will definitely come back in the summer with a pair of binoculars and have a good look around. On our trek we had the privilege of seeing a pair of Red Kites flying effortlessly above us,what an amazing site.

Get here early and you'll get a parking space...you'll struggle from 10am onwards.A beautiful walk starts right adjacent to the car park in all directions. Amazing scenery if you climb any of the surrounding hill tops where you can't avoid being transported back in time as you are surrounded by ancient history all of which is clear to see. Get here for sunrise and you won't be disappointed.

Perfectly located in the undulating Hills of the Pewsey Downs.Only a 30 minute walk to the top of Milk Hill (the highest point in wiltshire), 10 minutes to the top of Walkers Hill (an ancient burial mound) and 5 minutes to the top of Knap Hill.It does fill up quickly and often there are several camper vans that have parked overnight. Probably places for about 20 vehicles max. After that, people tend to park along the road, which isn't great as it is a national speed limit road and not particularly wide.

It's free, no time limit but limited spaces. Great spot to park to access the beautiful Pewsey Downs National Nature Reserve which is stunning.

Busy, but found a place quickly. There are not too many car parks situated hard by an ancient burial site. Welcome to Wiltshire!

Beautiful place to walk, a good few different pathways to take, space for about 25 cars to park. It's very windy on top of the hills, make sure to have a jacket with you or a lot more winter clothing in the season. I went in April during a cold snap and it was absolutely freezing. But beautiful views over the south. Please keep your dog on a lead and take your litter home with you.

Wow. What a walk and a view. Absolutely stunning. Hand gliding, microlites and remote control aeroplanes, all seen within 15 minutes. Stunning views. You can see everywhere within the Ridgeway. One of the best free days out in a while. A must. Parking is scarce. Get there early or be prepared to wait. It is so worth it.
