Jesmond Dene Conference Centre
Great spot for a conference centre, though it's more like a series of small rooms. Fine for our needs and an amazing location for breaks and a stoll at luch to clear the mind.

We held a leadership retreat here with 12 people. The staff and centre were first class. Nothing was any bother. Our team enjoyed the variety and quality of food at the cafe. A memorable day for Destiny Church Leadership team made possible by the hard work the great team at Jesmond Dene. Highly recommend this venue.

Cafe within Millfield House was very underwhelming today, nothing like the nice place it was a few years ago. Sausage sandwich was £2.90,sausage was about 6 hours old barely warm and bone dry, served up in an unbuttered brioche bun, sweet mince pie just crumbled away in my hand. Not good value at all, I can get a full English breakfast in South Shields for £5.50 just for comparison. The room was cold unheated bare wooden floor, no crockery or cutlery, just paper bags. You will find much better value in a WRVS run cafe in your local hospital. Sorry cannot recommend this place.

Good conference room facilities but the cafe food is awful and the canteen management were clueless and rude. Beautiful location in Jesmond Dene and opposite pets corner. Review for visit Aug 2015.

Good facilities, food is a bit basic though (and pricey) but no complaints about the actual venue or staff

The Cafe located within this Conference Centre is the most hideous venue imaginable. It was transformed by Newcastle Council from one of the most attractive, popular, family and people friendly restaurants to a desolate, uninviting dump: The worst hostel type environment you could imagine. Please local residents, users and Council, get a petition together to get the current management out and try to return it to the Haven it was!If there was a minus 5 stars, I would have awarded that. Truly hideous place!

Dogs allowed which is a plus, clean water with a tap to the right of the gated entrance, Bench seats with further seating inside. Two courtyard tables outside only - strange for a busy bank holiday. Overpriced drinks £3 each = £9 for two coffee's and a muffin. Toilets very dirty with taps damaged. It feels like being in a Youth Hostel. The seating area is bland and very dull with no atmosphere. I wish we had bought an ice cream from the ice cream van outside.

Conference centre had no heating or wifi when arrived. Looks like we are moving venues...
