Dores Beach
A beautiful place to be in summer. But we went there in the peak December and it was very cold. The temperature there was nearly - 1 - 2 but we really enjoyed the mountain view from there.

Dores Beach
Lovely little pebble beach, just out of Dores village. Really pleasant to hang out, skip stones and catch some sun (should you be so lucky). One of those places thats just perfectly developed, any more and it would just get too crowded. Nice woodland at the end for a shaded walk. Bathrooms available at the Inn, and car park also just between the Inn and the beach

A beautiful spot to enjoy loch Ness, the scenery was fantastic!Plus a resident Nessie hunter lives nearby (sadly I was too early to see and talk to him)Definitely worth a stop if you are touring the loch.

Peaceful place. Nice to stay there for a bit and chill, looking at the loch Ness.If the place looks quiet and you're near the parking lot you may want to keep walking for a bit. Groups of people will probably arrivé but most of them stay near the entrance

Dores Beach
A lovely area which we found so much better than the tourist areas around the lake. The woodlands just to the end of the beach are excellent too for a walk

Dores Beach
Beautiful beach, very difficult to find parking, the adjacent parking by the inn is locked.Sadly the tourism is very badly promoted, the place has the potential to be a very relaxing and scenic spot for anyone but by keeping restaurants and bars and parking places closed or looking like a dump no one will come.

Amazing location we came on Easter Sunday, not too busy, peaceful. We walked along the pebble beach then up the woods. We recommend bringing a picnic to sit and enjoy the tranquility of the Loch away from others.Rock collecting for kids and a great looking pub nearby.Find you monster here if you can but the scenery will take your breathe away.

Relaxing place to chill. Start of the Loch Ness. There is a Dores Inn where you can go in and freshen up and use the facilities if required. Park nearby is fun aswell. Very clean too.

Absolutely incredible views of Loch Ness from this pebbley beach. Can dip your toes in too! Lovely icecream/coffee van called The Spot located on the beach also with amazing oat milk chai lattes and little pots of icecream.
