Rotunda Square

Basic, BASIC, piece of public realm fronting the South Rotunda toward the Clyde toward the North Rotunda , Finnieston Crane and SEC. An utterly squandered opportunity marred horribly by the crazy grading of the Clyde Arc/Squinty Bridge that cleaves Mavisbank Quay in two and severs the riverside walkway by being just low enough as to be unsafe (we're talking a matter of inches). The neighbouring STV building tries to at least enter into dialogue with the square here, though sadly falls short of creating any sort of activity. Access isn't immediately obviously public, but it is, so wire in. Still, it exists, which is at least something, so a very generous 2 stars.
