A treasure of a shop in Ruddington. If they don't sell it, they can often get it. They are so knowledgable about DIY stuff too and give you tips on how to go about things which is really useful to me who often does not have a clue! Always a smile of a welcome from super-helpful duo who own the place. Precious place and my favourite in the village.

Absolutely fantastic little hardware shop in the heart of Ruddington that always has what you need. The couple who run it are incredibly resourceful and helpful, and I have often found it is cheaper than the big DIY stores. Great range of kitchen and cleaning products, will cut your keys, and provide all the news on what is going on in the village. A wonderful place.

Without doubt the best hardware shop we could ever need in our area. Their stock seems endless and thank fully they seem only to pleased to acquire anything we want or need given a few days to contact their supplier. Customers are always greeted with a friendly smile and nothing seems to much trouble for them. Thank you to all concerned and well done.

An ‘old-fashioned’ hardware store with wonderfully ‘old-fashioned’ service. They stock all the bits and pieces you might need from bird seed and glue to mops, light-bulbs, nails, sandpaper etc; offer a key-cutting service; and can usually come up with a solution to those odd-ball questions I have like ‘What sort of glue can I use to make a nest out of straw for an Easter bonnet’ or ‘how can I fasten this bird feeder to a tree with something easier to undo than string?’ A gem of a shop, and Helen and Simon are very knowledgable.

This shop is amazing and the service is fantastic. I wanted to buy a rust converter product, but none were stocked by any of the big DIY stores (Wickes/Screwfix/B&Q), or even Euro Car Parts.I found Perkins Hardware with a quick search, called them up and they had 2 different products to do what I wanted.The pricing was competitive too.Now that Jayline has gone from West Bridgford, this is a good alternative.
