We had the bottomless brunch Food was very nice, I had a bacon cheeseburger it was very filling and very messy, Paul our server was very attentive and lovely as were the rest of the staff. Thank you we will be back again soon

First time at the slug and lettuce and I was with a Hen party , The staff and service was fantastic food was great.Then unfortunately I’m not sure whether he is their own photographer ??But he was the rudest person I’ve ever met in my entire life, heGathered our large group outside to take a photograph then Directly looked at me and said“ Move your making me sick” Then made a sick noise….….He must have thought he was being funny but I was so angry I shouted who are you talking to you Rude man, I was disgusted … No apology even though he realise that he upset me and made me angry … Unfortunately due to this experience I’ll never go to that place again …

Came in here for a pint with a friend and it was the perfect spot to rest after the Christmas markets. Food was stunning and the pint was poured by the most friendliest barman. Will defo be returning soon!! Can't fault it!

Brilliant place and great atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and coped well with the Christmas rush. We were amazed how quickly the food came out too. Lovely place and we would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Amazing food, amazing service, and lovely atmosphere throughout the dayWe went for breakfast and it was nice and quiet. However, tea time on a Friday night, I suppose we should have expected it to be a little 'wild'. Staff were fantastic. Good selection of vegan. Will definitely go again.

Had bottomless brunch, our server was Alice who was fine. Food was good but there were no halloumi and mushroom burgers . My drink was wrong twice, no glasses were cleared until we were ready to leave. It was Sunday evening and not busy.

Whenever my friend and I go from brunch we always choose S&L Heron House, Albert Sq and again it didn't disappoint. Warren who waited on and served us had been amazing and hasn't left is wanting for anything. He's been on the ball and accommodating us and not leaving us without anything we have needed. Excellent customer service. Thank you for making our time here enjoyable.. not to also mention he seemed to be along waiting on everyone here but still managed to find the time for us and everyone else. A++

Gave food a 5 as we didn't eat and would have been unfair.The external area was a disgrace, lasses everywhere and you couldn't sit down if you wanted to as every table was just full of empties.Inside was pretty empty, tables sticky I actually cleaned ours myself. Service was slow despite the bar being empty inside. My cocktail wasn't shaken so was just layers of Syrups and alcohol. I had to stir it for ages to get it all mixed around the iceYoung girls crying their eyes out in the toilets drunk. Yeah, I wouldn't go again that's for sure !
