We had a Christmas Party for around 50 families last night and the janitors could not have been more helpful or friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Brilliant venue that we will definitely be using again. Claire (SFAD)

Badly organised flu/covid jabs appointments, huge queues, feel sorry for all the volunteers and nurses.

Not sure how good this venue is as an actual town hall but my girlfriend and I were turned away at 6:20pm on Sunday 22nd of May for a covid-19 booster. The website showed drop ins until 7pm but we were greeted by a young man at the door who was, at the time, sticking a felt tipped pen written poster which read “no drop in appointments” to the window. Not only do I doubt their senior/ health board official would approve of turning patients away like this, but it is also not stated anywhere on NHS or town hall websites. We were told to “make sure” we “come earlier next time” - very poor working attitude and way of speaking to patients. Had to drive an extra 15 mins to next drop in centre (Partick) where we had a great experience.

As a venue hosting an NHS Scotland COVID-19 & Flu ‘21 Vacination drop in it was well organised & without difficulty.

Lillie Art Gallery, excellent display in a very well kept busy place. The staff are very friendly and welcoming with a wide knowledge of what's being exhibited. The gallery is a great asset to the town.

Despite having an appointment for my Mum's COVID Spring booster, arriving on time, we had to endure standing in not one but 2 queues. One in foyer and another even longer one in the main hall, for over an hour ! No way to treat an 80+ year old with Dementia and a heart condition. Truly shambolic and shameful.

This is an excellent facility for use by locals for all sorts of events in the delightful town of Milngavie. Currently (2021) being used as a Covid and Flu vax centre. In March 2022, the Lillie Art Gallery has opened to the public with a new exhibition.

There are a handful of disability spaces up the side street but these do not have the typical yellow road markings, and unless you have used before, they are hard to find. You need binoculars or to drive about in all directions. Or be a local. The covid vaccine staff were standing in front of the tiny disability signs.Found this to be a poorly signposted venue for these with health/accessibility issues. Lack of visible parking for those who need it. Will avoid this centre going forward.
