Laneside Caravan Park

A great campsite. Immaculate. Facilities are clean and well kept. The new shower block is fantastic. The managers and staff are very friendly and really nothing is too much trouble. We loved the cocktail bar horse trailer and the mobile fish and chip van at weekends. A short walk to hope village and hope train station. 5* !

3 night stay on a hard standing pitch, greeted by a friendly staff member and shown straight to our pitch. Lovely site well organised, facilities clean and in good condition. Plenty of walks in the area Hope village just minutes away (you can hear the Church Bells on Sunday morning). Only downside was our pitch was quite close to the main road and we did have quite a bit of noise from the road quite late into the evening, obviously not alot the site can do about this more a warning if this might be an issue for you.

Love this place been going back for years, great facilities & an ideal base to explore the Peak District with great walks & Mtb rides straightfrom the site

Lovely welcome from Karen on arrival. Really nice site with excellent facilities, all really clean and cared for.5 minutes walk into Hope where there's a cracking farm shop (pork pie is a must!) And lots of cafes , a really well stocked convenience shop and a couple of nice pubs.We used the Woodroffe Arms. Again a lovely welcome from Pauline and Colin here at the Woodfroffe. Also, we met Haggis, one of the maintenance staff from the Laneside Caravan Park. Great chat with him and you can tell he loves his job.All in all, don't hesitate.If I could find one tiny thing that was a bit of a niggle, it's pretty close to the main road, so think about that when booking your plot. Very dog friendly. Tidy. Happy days.

I came with my van as part of a ladies camper group. The site is in a lovely location, spotlessly clean and has everything you need. We had campfires in raised firepits and all enjoyed the breakfast butty van. Close to the village and local pubs and shops and great for walkers. Would definitely come again.

Lovely spot for both camping and caravans. We had a tent pitch by the river which was beautiful! Friendly staff and great facilities. The new toilet block is fantastic. Located in such a stunning area with plenty of things to do around such as walks, caverns and a castle.

Fantastic site with very good amenities...and the underfloor heating in the shower block is wonderful.So many stunning walks from site and the old hall hotel in Hope serves a good pint , in a really lovely atmosphere .Darren and his partner are really great wardens, really helpful and fun, they make your stay even more fun.

Fantastic campsite with superb facilities and great views very close to village with several pubs where you can eat. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Only stayed for one night but will be back again to stay longer.

We had booked for two nights but liked the site so much that we stayed for four nights. Beautiful setting and so peaceful and quiet. Nothing was too much for the staff who were all so friendly and helpful. Showers, toilets and washing up area are always immaculate. We will be back!
