I started Muay Thai during lockdown when the restrictions allowed 1 to 1 training. I can honestly say, this was the best decision I ever made and saved my mental health. I started once a week and this soon moved to 3 times a week. What I love about my sessions is that it allows me to release any stress from the working week but it has also taught me calm and control. Phil is also excellent at knowing how far to push you and keep the sessions interesting. Also, if I have an injury niggle, he knows how to avoid inflaming it more whilst allowing me to still train.

I have been training with Phil 2-3 a week for the last two or three years. As a total novice and with no real experience in the fitness world, training with Phil has given me confidence, made me feel more energised, and not only has the routine helped me mentally, but has given me a great repertoire of skills to build on. As a typically fickle person I’m surprised at how well I’ve stuck to training and that’s definitely down to Phil!
