I've been unfortunate to carry the burden of sciatica from time to time. I got to know about Barlow's after speaking with another chap who also suffers the tremendous discomfort that sciatica can cause. Upon entering this herbalist you are met with an old fashioned looking store that looks as though you've just entered into a scene from a Harry Potter book. Strange looking bottles that look like potions, little lanterns and a fire in a chiminea. The gentleman who served here spoke of the shop being over one hundred years old. I purchased a concoction that he threw together for me and he told me with honesty that it would taste bad. He was bang on the money about that one! Nevertheless, I will continue to take this remedy in the hope it'll finally give this sciatica the heave-ho!

My memories and experience of Barlows herbalist goes back to the early or mid 80's through meeting Brendon while i was working in Burnley.A beautiful shop well stocked and great staff.Hope to visit you once again in the future when on one of my rare visits to the North of England.So pleased to see you are still doing really well, old friend.

Very pleased with the service and products from Barlows herbalists. My first order resulted in a mixup between my billing address and delivery address, and brother Sham swiftly rectified the problem and sent out another batch to my current address. My second order, I was at fault and didn’t verify the delivery address before confirming the order. I got in touch with someone from the store and they rectified the issue and made sure my order was sent to the correct address. The quality of the products is evident, I can feel a tangible difference in my energy levels, sleeping pattern and general health. Highly recommended, and I will be back for more!

Amazing people, outstanding service. After waiting 2 months on the nhs for treatment and diagnosis for my autistic girls bowel issues, i realised i was being fobbed off constantly with movicol, antibiotics and other laxatives so i decided to visit Barlows because a friend recommended them. (My happy little girl was constantly waking at night, she was so irritable and short tempered suddenly). So, I agreed to do the ‘Mora testing’ and started her medication straight away. Within 2 days of starting the herbal treatment she is my happy little girl again! Besides this i purchased probiotics and magnesium from them which i feel has made a huge difference too! I have since rang them numerous times for advice and theyve always been good to me.The only problem i have is trying to get it down her because she hates the taste, as with any medication really but at least i know she is getting natural remedies. Thank you so much guys!
