Sŵn y Môr

A very special cottage in a very, very special location. So much thought has been put into the conversion of Swn Y Mor and the result is a really stunning holiday rental. The quality of the kitchen and bathroom is exceptional, the décor and decorative touches so imaginative and of very high quality and, critically, the bed is super-comfortable. The cottage was spotless and very well equipped. We felt welcome and very much at home. It’s a light and airy cottage – even on the one dull day we knew we were by the sea. The view is truly wonderful and we have enjoyed a week of true relaxation and joy in being a wonderful part of Wales. There is so much to do locally and the closeness of Whitesands beach the icing on the cake. A holiday we will remember for a very long time, for the sunsets, for the comfort, for the quiet and for the welcome.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights before Christmas and were completely blown away by the Swn y Mor cottage the moment we walked in. Arriving in darkness on the Friday night, we were completely oblivious to the stunningly breath-taking view that would greet us on the sunny Saturday morning! The cottage itself is ideally located and extremely well equipped. The decor inside features a mix of retro and modern furniture that gives the cottage a vintage yet fresh feeling! The triangle window is a real stand-out feature of the kitchen that perfectly frames the stunning view of Whitesands bay. We loved our stay and cannot wait to re-book for the summer!

The amazing location and view was almost overshadowed by the quality of Sŵn y Môr. The attention to detail and quality of the fittings/furnishings/design is clear for all to see. We were so impressed and enjoyed ourselves so much right from the start that we added an extra day to our stay on impulse. Nothing was too much trouble for Emyr and Mair and we will definitely be back.

What a lovely property! Stunning location with fantastic views and easy access to Whitesands beach and coastal path. Dog friendly but our 14 year old collie found the bare stairs a little daunting. That said we would highly recommend and will definitely be back for a longer visit.

We stayed at Swn Y Mor in Valentine's week 2019. What a fantastic short break! The cottage truly was ' Sound of the Sea' , directly overlooking Whitesands Bay, a short walk from the beach. The Cottage itself was appointed to the highest standard, exquisitely comfortable, spotlessly clean, a five star experience.It's a great place, we plan on returning in the Autumn for another short break.Geoff Sargent
