After 6 months researching and understanding how a PV system (Solar Panels) work, i approached several PV companies / to arrange an appointment for a home visit to discuss our energy requirement, all but one Energy company made the effort in attending my property to discuss a Pv systems that would suit our energy needs for the forthcoming years, ( retirement being not too far away) and that was Locogen Energy Services.Colin the companies sales representative was very clear, concise and very informative in regards to our yearly energy usage and what we could expect from the 3 PV systems that he offered in regards to cost etc, Low, Mid range and High end PV systems. After surveying the roof, loft space, trusses etcColin a day later sent us a very informative Solar PV and Battery Storage Proposal which was very professionally prepared for all 3 PV systems offered, this included cost, energy produced, payback years, and a calculation of what energy the 3 options would give and what roughly we could expect over the coming years.After tweaking a bit with additional panels, Ev Charger, Battery (16.3kw) storage and Hot water diverter unit, power cable back up, we decided to go with Locogen Energy Services for their professionalism and attention to detail.A few weeks later Chris the Electrician arranged an appointment to survey the house ready for the installation, cabling and to plan out the PV fixings. Douglas in the Locogen office arranged all the deliveries, paper work, G99 DNO license etc etc and logistics of getting product on site and preparing the team for install Scaffolders etc, and keeping us up to-date regarding the time frame for install.At this point i really need to thank Chris for his attention to detail regarding his electrical work when installing our system, I must say one of the finest Electricians i have came across regarding technical abilities, cable tidiness, fixing boxes and running wires and explaining everything as he was installing the PV system, another shout goes out to Darren the roofer for a great fixation of the PV panels.Overall we would highly recommend Locogen Energy Services one of the best if not the best in Scotland, Again we would like to thank the team at Locogen Energy Services, Douglas, Colin, Chris, Darran, for a exceptional install,What's even better our system produced 9.2 Kw today in the depths of winter 07/12/2022, my daily consumption is 7.6 kw.
