Lovely pub, always come here with my friends and we have a lovely time. Managers lovely and always make sure we are ok. Great drinks on tap, and in fact i’ve never left sober. Few tips don’t steal quiche otherwise it’ll all kick off, but generally great pub

I hired the upstairs room for a quirky hen do and Sophia & her staff were an absolute delight from start to finish. The room hire and staffed bar upstairs was a competitive price (the best price we found) absolutely perfect room and everyone was really lovely and welcoming. Highly recommend this place for its private function room and Sophia is an absolute star. Thank you to you and your lovely staff.

We used The Banner Cross event space for a charity quiz recently and can honestly say they were fantastic! Sophie, the staff member who dealt with our enquiries and booking, was so accommodating and helpful.The room as a great size, really clean, tidy and provided a lovely atmosphere. The staff left us to our own devices when possible but also ensured we were looked after.Highly recommend!

Amazing pub. Beer is kept incredibly well so you will never have a bad pint. They change the casks enough to keep it interesting. And the bartenders are always lovely and a good chat. Lovely management aswell
