Peartree Gardens Car Park

A very big car park close to the local shops and amenities.

It's free to park which makes it very busy at times but the turnover is quick. Sainsburys trolleys have a drop off point and Icelands are a short walk. It's quite well laid out and new disabled spaces have been added along with EV charging bays. A number of regularly emptied charity bins are available but no recycling points. Makes a trip to Bitterne that little less stressful.

Good car park but gets busy at times

This is a popular car park, and it is difficult to find a parking spot here at busy times.

Car park behind Sainsbury's Bitterne. Handy for precinct shops, although fills up quicker than the alternative option of Angel Crescent on opposite side. There are charity clothes bins also.

This place is a death trap for pedestrians! The Council had another bright idea and decided to put a footpath across the main entrance to the car park where drivers are required to give way to pedestrians. However this requires drivers to think and a lot of them cannot manage that.Too concerned about how quickly they can escape the car park and shoot down to the lights. This has resulted in numerous near misses where pedestrians have nearly been knocked over. I was nearly hit the other day by some lady who couldn't understand 'Give way to pedestrians'Slow down, think and GIVE WAY!!!Whoever came up with this idea at the Council needs a new career!

Lots of spaces, free parking no return within the same day (but no one actually minds if you return 10 times) gets very busy in the 2 hours before and after school run

2 hours free parking in city some nice bushes to releive yourself in and a great pizza shop. What more can u ask for..

It's free car parking, but with that comes some difficulty in finding a free space during busy times like weekends.

Gets very busy. You have 2 hours free parking, but two car parks nearby have 5 hours free parking and even though they are smaller you will get spaces easier in the other two car parks.
