Charlton's Pond
It's a lovely park and lake. Very clean and well looked after by the Angling club, council and Locals. Everyone seems to appreciate the park and everyone plays there part in keeping it tidy. We'll worth your time to stop and watch the ducks.

What a beautiful place! There is a large lake and a smaller lake / large pond, the walkways are well maintained and there are plenty of benches to have a rest or sit and take in the beautiful scenery. The lakes are obviously very popular with people fishing, and home to a wide range of wildlife, so dogs should be kept under control. There is a huge variety of water birds on and around the lake and this is a great place to come to feed or photograph different species. I have also seen a wide range of other wildlife including insects and squirrels. I also found a very small and sickly baby hedgehog while walking close by and successfully hand reared him and re-released him to the wild.

Lovely kept pond, decent day fishing rates. Larger ponds for members, very pretty ideal small walk for dogs around the ponds, onsite parking

Poor small pegs all but a few, 1 rod, no radio, no boilies, no freelining, no floating baits, swans a complete head ache, ant bites and the lake needs dragging as line underwater and I'm told a fishing umbrella. Did see a 9.44lb carp caught but a very slow day

Nice little spot for picnics and walks if you live local not a lot to do here as it is mainly.about recreational fishing in the 2 areas of water available. Fishing is very popular and I have noticed someone pitched everytime I go.

Charlton's pond is a grate small pond to go fishing in, brilliant for children to learn how to fish,There's plenty of smallish fish, but you can get a few nice carp, and bigish perch.

Nature reserve fishing pond and lake. They use to have swans However they have seemed to have disappeared. A lovely oasis, calm tranquil lake in the heart of an industrial area.Plenty of wildlife though I don't think it's safe to go swimming as there maybe fishing lines discarded weights etc, hopefully not.Saw my very first Kingfisher here.
