A lovely place for a stroll with the family. Park at stony lane carpark for free for this circular walk through woods along a stream and then onto the 2 tier reservoir. I believe it supplies mist of inner city bradford but don't quote me on that. There's load of birds you'll hear but not see half of them but we did spot squirrels and deer.

Great walk around the reservoir. The paths are decent, though a little muddy in places, I wear trainers when walking round and never get wet/ muddy feet. Have also ran round on a night using a headtorch. It's about 1.3 miles around both bodies of water, though you could make it shorter by walking around just one bit of water. There's a carpark at one end of the reservoir, but we usually park up Chellow lane where there's plenty of on street parking. From Chellow Dene there's also plenty of walks around including woodland around the water, an old quarry, the golf course and a trig point up Allerton Road... All walkable from the reservoir and which I have done! There are benches located around the water for anyone needing a rest or wanting to look at the water/ ducks! It is mainly flat with just a a slope/ lot of steps to get from from one body of water to the other. There's also steps/ slopes to get to the woodland (which is typical woodland paths... Narrower and muddier!).Additionally there's also some decent stepping stones where you can cross from one side of the water to the other which are always worth a walk across... Though you can carry on a bit further where the path loops round of you don't want to!

Make sure you take the bottom path but a long and short walk. Was amazing and really quiet. Very flat, a few stones that stick up but other then that. Will be going again

Saw an older man about (50+) walking with a border collie, he had a big walking stick and huge backpack. He kept shouting and swearing at another dog down the path and then told me he was going to get his catapult out to teach it a lesson. I told him that this was not ok and that he shouldn't do it, but he was suddenly super angry so we left rather quickly. Please be careful if you see him about or go walking with your dog off the leash.

This is a stunning spot, we throughly enjoyed our walk and our doggie loved it too.The walk was relatively flat, until you get to the reservoir. There is an option to take the circular route back.

Great little dog walk, especially in autumn for the pretty colours. Free car park - BD15 9LL enter Chellow Dene Car Park in to Google maps. Combination of paths leading through woodland and a circular walk around the 2 reservoirs allowing you to loop round.
