Nice scenery with ducks and swan. But not much parking space and the entrance is tricky

Beautiful, relaxing and peaceful park & reservoir. There are ducks and swans here. Used to come feed them with my grandma on Sundays. Not many people seem to come so it's very good if you need a mental break. There is a boat club with sailing lessons available. There is also a garden centre next to the park. It's a fairly large place so it would make a nice medium distance walk. For cyclists, the forest park does not have a paved path, so keep that in mind. No delicate bicycles. You cannot swim in the reservoir and I would definitely not recommend it.Overall, a lovely somewhat unknown place.

A great place for photographing wild life. Swans and lots of other bird life in abundance. Take a 200 mm lens at least.

Covered in green canopy.. full of trees with birds and as a nature lover, it was truly unavoidable spot for a break from city chaos. Beautiful lake with ducks and swans around. Can spot the boat from the club. Nice for cycling and walking around the lake, having a picnic with friends and for bird photography as well. Time well spent with nature.

I am so glad this body of water, formerly called the Welsh Harp, still exists. I grew up in Sudbury Town and my father used to take me, aged 8, rowing on the Welsh Harp. He was badly disabled from polio in his legs but could row a boat brilliantly. I had such fun, and now at 67 the place still remains prominent in my memories.
