This is about three miles from the centre of Bournemouth and reached by walking from the pier area through the Lower, Middle and Upper Gardens. A quite long but enjoyable walk. The Coy Pond is quite large, long and thin and well designed with an island in the middle. On a previous visit it had at least one heron in the middle. There is a wide variety of both formally planted and wild plants and flowers. Presumably, as the weather was foul, the coy were nowhere to be seem, but they were visible on a previous visit. If you like a walk through a varied garden landscape, then this is recommended.

Beautiful little place with loads of ducks and moorhens. Surprisingly good for wildlife too, I've often seen unexpected birds here. Beautifully maintained and gardened by Friends of Coy Pond.

As much pollution as there is it's not a secret anymore it's out their showing itself in all its glory shredding rubbish and plastic cup so that we don't see it being polluted into the sea
