Lovely walk on a crisp autumn morning starting at Bracebridge car park then down to the path along the side of the railway and a circular walk around blackroot Pool.

This has become my usual destination during Lockdown. Great to see boats back on the pool. I'm old enough to remember when boats were a normal feature here. Recently I've been meeting up with my daughter, Jo, who lives next to the park for an early morning walk to the pool. This particular day was one of those gorgeous crisp mornings, but with a clear blue sky and just enough heat in the sun.If any of the owners of the Bistro are reading this, how about opening a separate place (bit like The Figlet that appeared outside Forage last year) to serve coffee and pastries? No shortage of people around at 8 o'clock.
