Good, clean new cafe. Coffee americano was decent (not sour or bitter).Staff were pleasant.Tables and seating indoors and outside.Shame it opens at 10am. Like to walk early and enjoy a hot drink before the masses turn up!

Excellent food and good service. Wide variety to choose from. After enjoying the walks around Longshaw where else to end up for a break.

N.T. LongshawAlways nice to go and have coffee and snacks after walking the area. You feel that you have earned itThere are some vegan items which is very good. And they are nice.More vegan items the better. They offer plant milk which is appreciated.Love the tables that have maps of the local area printed on table top. There are different ones. So vary where you sit :)The cafe is rightly very popular . Worth a visit.

It is good at parking space to have some change, not always good reception to do app payment(also can be difficult for older generation).Coffee place is lovely , at rainy days you can sit inside, or choose tables outside under cover.Very nice coffee and cake.

A revamped cafe which was very much needed. Helpful polite staff. The usual Nat Trust food - tasty and filling pasty.Surprisingly quiet considering number of cars in car park.Toilets have also had a much needed upgrade.Highly recommend it.

A horrible utilitarian building staffed by a large number of disinterested workers who clearly don't want to be there. I have never been here before and I have no plans to return. The place has a horrible vibe that drains your energy and the harsh lighting is quite discomforting. The staff appeared so demoralised that I had to question whether it was worth enduring the torture of being there serving junk food and low quality coffee for garbage wages.

Poor service of you're solo: I ordered a coffee and teacake, have my name and was given a numbered token. I walked down the busy cafe, unloaded my backpack on the next seat and settled down. My teacake came quickly - fab! When I asked about my coffee I was told to collect it myself. So every few bites of teacake I wandered down to see if it was ready. It wasn't till I'd finished my traveller that it had been served. No attempt to call me (so why take my name?). Disappointing. Just bring my coffee with my teacake please!

Food is over priced and portions are so small! Bacon and sausages were cremated and the wedges were so over cooked they were like bricks!

The staff are so friendly and work really hard to ensure a positive experience for all. We had lunch here. There were so many options, from jacket potatoes to soups to stews to hot and cold sandwiches, plus kids meals. It was so delicious that we went back for tea and cake and a scone. We always enjoy National Trust cafés but this one was managed extremely well and had a bigger selection than most.
