We went into this shop yesterday on our way to the Macdonald Holyrood Hotel. We found a wooden house that we wanted to buy but had our suitcases with us so we popped in today to purchase this. What a fabulous shop!!!! The guy at the desk was so helpful and kind! I am going go be coming back often to purchase more little mice tree decorations! 10 stars from us !! Thank you xxx

Nice small shop but it has a ton of ornaments for you to choose from if you’re looking for one.I didn’t end up getting anything here because if felt that the prices were quite high, but the lady who worked there was very nice and let us browse and listen to the Christmas music without any pressure. Which I appreciated!Also, it’s quite a ways down the Royal Mile so it’s not close to much other than government buildings and things you wouldn’t go to as a tourist.

My wife loves the shop, I went to buy a village scene for her as a surprise. Sadly the shop didnt have a box of packaging for the item. A bit disappointing given the item was £36.

I love visiting here when I go to Edinburgh. The ladies that work there are super friendly and you can always find treasures to take home to put on your own Chritmas tree.

Horrible shop keeper. I was just try to look something, he shouted “excuse me!? Can I help!?!?” I said that I was just looking, and he said “Just don’t touch!!” No Christmas spirit here, and possible racist alert!!

Well I found the Historical Figure decorations were the same price as anywhere else and definately less than the historic sites were selling them for.. plus lots more choice and unusual characters too. You get what you pay for I say..if you want cheaper go to the chain-stores. Was served by a lovely lady too..

Lovely shop. Good variety of decorations. Got a lovely angel decoration for £5. You have to wear a mask and contactless is preferred.
