Normally, this bastion of the legal profession is closed to the public. However, today, I was fortunate to find that there was an open day, and so I decided to take a walk around this historical part of London.The first place I entered was the great hall, which is a beautiful piece of architecture with walls adorned with members' coats of arms and portraits of members new and old and complimented some of the finest stained windows.The chapel is another piece of classic architecture. The chapel is situated on the first floor, but make sure you visit underneath at ground level and marvel at these walkways.This was an impressive look around a part of London, which is often not accessible.

First time visiting this stunning hidden gem.Did you know it's the largest public square in London?And the grand architecture is captivating, lots to see, dont forget to look up. The gardens are perfect for a spot of pack lunch.Nearest tube stations, Holborn, Chancery Lane and Temple.Sir John Soane, London School of Economics, Royal college of Surgeons is all walking distance too.

A thing of joy and beauty that lasts forever.Such is charisma and aura of this place that it leaves the long lasting impression and deep imprints upon the minds of the viewers.This place has a rich history, prestige and respect among the Barristers, lawyers, legal fraternity and people in general who hold it very high in terms of respect.It is definitely an unforgettable experience, the experience of a life time to be in this place.

Fabulous architecture and gardens. Lots of history and well worth reading up on the area. Good selection of expensive cars parked here! Search out the hawks that are brought here three times a week to keep the seagulls away. A perfect place to take time out from the busier parts of the city.

Beautiful architecture, well preserved, great historical value. It's worth a guided visit, especially through their library and dining hall. Also, the place is being renovated, so some parts are off-limits.

Beautiful building stooped in history. A place of inspiration for anyone wanting to study law and become a Barrister and a member of 'The Law Society'.There are also conference rooms for lectures and meetings as well as also catering facilities. Would recommend this location to either visit as a tourist or to a budding law student.

This is a beautiful peaceful place in the centre of London. If you are fortunate to be a member or know one, you can dine in the great hall or work in the library. Otherwise walk around the grounds.

Lincoln's Inn Fields is the largest public space in London. A pleasant, quiet and unique part of London that's quiet in the weekends. The area around the fields is very much a lawyer's playground as it's close to the Inns of Court. The professional association of barristers in England and Wales. Other prominent builds in the area belong to the London School of Economics.Although it's supposed to be a public square, the fields is more like a park with a bandstand like structure in the centre. Inside the fields are also fields for Tennis and Netball. There's also cafe. On a nice day, it's pleasant to sit on the many benches, have lunch and watch the many squirrels that inhabit the park.
