Booked an appointment for a graduation shoot but we were unable to attend due to adverse weather but Joel was very accommodating in rescheduling to a new date on the same week which was greatly appreciated. The photo session itself was a great experience which the whole family enjoyed and the viewing session was great as well. The finished product turned out great and we are happy with the photos/frames as well as the overall experience and service. Debbie and Joel both also had quick and efficient communications over emails/phone and were both very friendly in person too.

We're very happy we chose Peter Dyer's for our wedding shoot, not only are the photos excellent but Joel was super helpful on the day with so many little things like having safety pins when needed and advising on how to stand so the registrar and also the guests could see. Although it wasn't really his role with his experience of weddings we were able to step back from thinking about what to do next or where to go and just focus on each other and allow Joel to control those things. All in all Joel and Debbie were fantastic, with the planning meetings beforehand all the way through to designing and getting the photo album afterwards, I could not imagine it being done any better. We arrived at Joel’s studio with a 2.5 y/o toddler and newborn twins and we had such a lovely afternoon.What can I say – this was one of the most memorable experiences for us since the twins arrived. Joel made us feel so at home and comfortable and made the children feel at ease. We followed his lead and he swiftly had my toddler in fits of laughter while he careful arranged us into position to capture different moments. Next moment I was enjoying a cup of tea as he carefully swaddled the twins for their newborn images. We came prepared for an ordeal with the young ones but Joel took care of everything and we got to enjoy the show :)We had the BEST time with you, the images you took capture our family so well. Thank you so much Joel (and Debbie for all the organising of the sessions). We will be back for sure!

From day one, Joel and his wife Debbie have been exceptional. always making us feel comfortable, happy and at ease. Joel takes the time to have a pre photoshoot with yourself to get to know you and for the couple to get to know him. As someone who hates taking pictures, this was a great session as I could share my concerns and from that moment, he reassured me and listened to me along our journey. We got married in July and Joel was organised, dedicated and was determined to ensure we captured some of the most amazing wedding pictures. We have just visited Joel to view our images from the wedding and all I can say is WOW! We relived our whole day in a 38 minute slideshow. Joel and Debbie you have been amazing. It has been a real pleasure to work with you and the best decision we made was asking you to capture our special day. 40 years ago your incredible father captured my parents wedding and we have now been blessed to have you capture ours. The expertise of the photographer is amazing, especially brilliant with family photos. My kids had a positively unforgettable time at the studio. Would love to visit again and again. The studiomanagement is equally wonderful, particularly, communication is 100% plus! I am more than satisfied.

We had Joel as our wedding photographer in 2011 and the results were phenomenal...there is a reason this studio wins awards! So, when we had extended family recently gathered in July 2023 it was only natural to ask if Joel would take on a group session at a family home. We were very lucky this could be arranged....and the photos are outstanding. Joel made the session fun and engaging for everyone (kids as well!), with all our requests for different groupings and photo locations being accommodated. Very highly recommended!!!

We hired Joel for our wedding day and we could not be any happier. From our first meeting we knew he was the photographer for us. On our wedding day, Joel and Sophia were amazing, making sure that we got all the photos we asked for and helping us get around despite the rain. They were so friendly and made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. They even helped people to take high quality photos on their phones. The showing after the wedding of all the photos was beautiful and bought back all the memories of the day. The photos are such high quality and look amazing. Joel was very helpful when we were choosing our album and went through all the options with us without ever rushing us. We had a family photo shoot two weeks ago. From the minute I entered the studio, I felt warmth. There is a small play area for young children and toddlers to warm up to a new environment. Joel was very professional and patient with my 3 children as well as my parents who don’t speak English. To capture attention and moments from 3 years old twins, he acted like Mr Tumble (if you ever watch CBeebies on telly). There were lots of laughters in the studio. As a customer, I am very pleased with my choice and will return one day!
