Used Hall Reynolds about 2 years ago for will writing. Very efficient and helpful so used recently for house sale. Adequate service but sold in a busy time (stamp duty reduction ending) so leeway given. Took 24hours to receive funds - no interest paid for them keeping funds kept overnight - substantial sum of money.Purchased a new property - they did not chase memorandum of sale from estate agent, did not contact us to advise not received two weeks after purchase price confirmed. Took over a week to reply to an email and only then replied, when sent a second time. This is after I spoke to the actual solicitor (once in 3 months) and advised time pressures with purchase as purchase to go through by end of September as we will be houseless.Such a shame as I really wanted them to be great but very very disappointing. General impression is that we are not important and any information given about our personal situation is not relevant. Very frustrating to deal with. Contacted to advise we were changing solicitor and not even an apology given after explaining reasons for change. Customer service within conveyancing dept is poor at best.This is unusual for me to complain as I will given people the benefit of the doubt - too much sometimes but Hall Reynolds have been a real disappointment.
