Commercial Drone Training

I already reviewed CDT, but having qualified 2 years ago, I feel the need to say how good they are for follow up help. I have sent numerous queries to Mike Green over the two years since and he always replies to my emails, which sets this business apart from many others, who happily take your money and just drop you. 5 Days of excellent training, well organised and run in a great location for learning and flying.Don't expect an easy course, it was hard work, long days and one night up past midnight completing the night rating add on.Food was good too and I now have a good network of new friends as well.Thanks Mike, you have found the right way to do it.

The course is fantastic, the staff are great and the accommodation is brilliant. The course runs at a reasonable rate, but the instructors insure everyone understands it before moving on. The staff were available before, after and in between lessons which was really helpful. The food at the accommodation is brilliant and the views to go flying at are great too.

I have just completed an A2 Cert .of Comp. on line course with this company.I found the course very straight forward to follow. The course material was very comprehensive and detailed. I have gained an exceptional amount of information to support me as a drone pilot in this category. There were opportunities to go back on lessons that needed further learning. The mock exam was representative of the course material followed and prompted areas where further learning was needed. I was able to book the on -line exam within 24 hours using Zoom. Mike talked me through the process of setting this up using my iPhone as the remote camera. Following the Flight training step by step was very straight forward. An excellent company all round. This is an excellent training organisation which I unreservedly recommend.

Firstly A* communication from Mike.I was referred to Mike after a failed attempt from another provider. Having learning difficulties can sometimes hinder me when doing E learning however a quick call to Mike settled my nerves entirely.The training process was relaxed and intuitive allowing me to study around work commitments. On the day I booked my test I felt confident in my ability given my mock test results.Test day: Mike sets a really relaxed and peaceful tone for the exam and gives you a good overview of the test allowing you to compose yourself before the timer starts.

Great Course and Great Support. Highly recommendedJust completed my Certification with Mike and Alan at CDT in Aberdeen. The course content and materials was excellent and run at a suitable pace for all. Following recent drone incidents and the need to separate yourself from the amateurs, I chose to go with Mike and the team at Commercial Drone Training (Aberdeen Course). Had a very enjoyable 3 days ...stayed locally, the course was presented and delivered perfectly. The Ops Manual section was very good as some other instructors do not give such in-depth help with this part. Nice group of people, good environment at Kippie Lodge. Would highly highly recommend to anyone considering.
