Great club. Having tried Aikido at school 30 years ago, I was so pleased to find this dojo near St Albans, so I could start again. Excellent senseis, each with their own take on teaching techniques. Very welcoming to beginners.

Not your usual martial arts howeverKi Aikido is more then just learning techniques to smash, break, destroy the opponent. Aikido is for life to bring into daily life when you come across difficulties and difficult people, that is the time to keep calm and resolve the situation without violence and force. Ki Aikido although it looks like a dance and feels like nothing(Less is more) has certainly helped a few times over the years in the real world.Ki Aikido for me is so addictive I get thrown around but don't feel forced and go back for more. A true gentlemans art actually was only for the upper class and royalty when first established.
