Heavenly Baking Coffee Shop and Tearooms
Amazing little cafe in the garden centre. Since opening last year, the new owners have completely transformed this cafe into a lovely vibrant place with the most delectable handmade goodies and treats. The coffee and walnut cake was incredibly light and airy, the scones were baked to perfection, the accompanying clotted cream was delicious. I loved the little handmade jammy biscuits the recipe for which, I was told, was passed down from generations. Everything tasted light, fluffy and balanced, I look forward to visiting again soon.

I booked a private function for 20. Nothing was to much trouble and the food was wonderful. Exceptional value, plentiful and delicious. We will be back to try the breakfast which all sound lovely. People who comment on prices on these reviews are obviously used to Morrisons cafe and not this sort of quality. Thank you!

Didn't comment on the food! As didn't tryit's certainly a good find! Impressed with the selection of plants in the garden centre section all looking so very fresh. I found the wildlife Corner full of treats and not to expensive. The visit to the cafe was great! Nicely decorated giving it a fresh look.My only grip & its not a huge one....we had hoped to get a sandwich for lunch to take away however as we had visited early am we weren't able to get one. Now this seems unfair as im sure they have the ingredients to hand. So how come weren't allowed. Best part of £20 they've missed out on xx

We were in here yesterday (1st july) and its awful, they serve the cakes with the same tongs (from cakes with nuts to cream or chocolate ones) what about people with allergies!! plus Zoe the so called manager is vile, and vile to her staff. We complained about her to our server, and they told us that Zoe eats all the leftovers once they are taken out to the back kitchen! She is a bully to her young staff, she is lazy and she is not worthy of such a business, her appearance is unacceptable and unprofessional, she should dress accordingly and suitably for her role....I wouldn't take her tatting!!Do not go here...if you send your dish back she amends it with her bare hands (and has a quick nibble at the same time) we had topped chips with jerk chicken but it came smothered in cheese (menu doesn't state this) so knee they were sent back to be re done, our server told us she removed the topping with her bare hands, ate the chicken and cheese, then topped the remainder of the chips with fresh chips.....she is revolting!!Do not eat here....you do not know where her hands/fingers have been. She is so low rent

We recently held our celebrations for nans 100th birthday at Heavenly Baking. It was a wonderful occasion and 40 of us sat down for afternoon tea. Nothing was too much trouble for Zoe and her staff team. The food was absolutely superb. If you want a small friendly venue then you could do no better. Our guests were well fed & they have all said how wonderful the food, atmosphere & staff were. Thank you Zoe x

A hidden gem! Amazing cakes and deserts served with speciality teas and coffees are an absolute treat. Known for the afternoon teas which can be perfect for a special occasion as small bottles of bubbly can also be served with it too. They also serve a wide range of small bites through to main meals all very tasty and fantastically presented. Service is excellent and nothing it too much trouble, portions are generous so make sure you take a takeaway desert.

Fantastic little cafe! I have visited on a number of occasions and have met friends, family and colleagues here and have always been made to feel welcome. The food is always very fresh and as someone who has a gluten intolorence, I have found it very easy to find something I can eat, including a selection of GF cakes (which I can honestly say you don't get everywhere). I travel around for work and often find myself in supermarkets with tiny jacket potatoes and hard cheese, when I am in Walsall I know I can visit heavenly baking and get a decent sized potato with fresh toppings! The atmosphere is lovely, and as someone who has been a number of times now it's obvious some customers make heavenly baking a regular place to meet up which speaks volumes for the quality!
