Carpetright

First time in one of these stores, and I had a great time! First time buyer looking to replace carpets with wood. The man who helped me was super informative and gave me initial quotes on what I needed there and then. I will be ordering from them once I've chosen the colouring but cheers for your help!

My grandad was due to have his flooring fitted on the 27/09/23 and no one turned up and no one let him know after ringing around yesterday being told they be there after 12 then after 4pm no one turned up they turned up on 28/09/23 after I rang the store to find out what’s going on for the man from the newton abbot store being very rude on the the fitters came at 9.50am and then started saying they couldn’t take the old flooring up then it was they can’t lay the flooring as a dip in the flooring then the fitter goes on to say did carpet right come and look at the floor before hand and yes they did and said they should of picked up ok it then the fitter broke my grandad radiator and left water leaking over the floor said was going to get the stuff to fix it that was at 10.50 and be an hour and still not came back at the 1.15pm it’s like 2 cowboys have came in would not recommend at all

Appalling, mattress failed, offered to replace but now backtracking on a legally binding contract that they agreed with us, trying to hide behind the manufacturer who has nothing to do with this. The hop is fine if all goes well, but if you have problems forget it.

I was expecting a carpet fitting from the Exeter store but found out it hadn't been booked in correctly. In the end I was put through to Owen at the Newton Abbot store and he was brilliant. Went out of his way to resolve the issue for me even though it seemed to involve a bit of back and forth between Exeter, Leeds and the carpet fitters! He had my fitting rescheduled for the same day very quickly, was polite and helpful. Excellent customer service from the Newton Abbot branch.

If you are looking for a carpet, then a trip to carpet right is worth it. The store is lated out well and it's easy to find what you are looking for. I enjoyed shopping in the store and the staff I spoke too were helpful and answered my questions. Customer service is appreciated and I will return.

Went to both Torquay store for quote. Sent fitter to measure up. Didn't send me my quote. Went back to Torquay store and he was useless. So went to Newton Abbot store explained I needed quote from fitter and what carpet I wanted. He said he would get me the quote to me via email and 2 samples of the carpet. This was 8 days ago and they couldn't be bothered to get back to me. So would not recommend them to anyone for their poor service and lack of customer care, avoid at all costs. Go to independent fitters as they are much better

We went in for a lounge carpet. The lady there approached us in a happy friendly manner. I explained what we were looking for and she directed us to the appropriate area and left us to look at our leisure. When we had chosen a carpet she was easily available and professional. She asked if we wanted underlay and was very knowledgeable. There was no pushy sales just information. The whole process was very smooth and pleasant. To add to a great experience we also had an excellent deal on the carpet.

I don’t normally leave reviews, mostly because there is very little to say. However, went to the Newton Abbot branch after visiting another carpet shop. Sarah couldn’t have been more helpful. Provided her with a piece of carpet and asked for same. Very knowledgable of products available and she very quickly found closest match to my sample piece along with others carpets she thought may be more suitable. Went on her recommendation in the end. I need the carpet and laminate quickly and that’s when Sarah very kindly offered to come and do the measuring herself the following day and it was her day off! I was absolutely bowled over. Where do you receive customer service like that these days? I said no and I would wait as didn’t want her messing up her off time to come and measure but she insisted. Sarah arrived at the appointed time with her husband Darren who also works for Carpetright. They set about measuring and that’s when I threw a spanner in the works and asked about wood laminate for the hall. Not a problem, nothing was too much trouble. Soon obtained quote as promised. I have to say if it wasn’t for Sarah I would probably have looked at other carpet companies before deciding. Sarah went way beyond her official capacity which was hugely appreciated. Obviously a great asset to Carpetright. If I was still in business I would have poached her. Great work ethic. A big thank you Sarah. You have set the bar really high for the fitters.

Brilliant service. The carpets arrived at the store one day. They were fitted the next! The fitters were extremely helpful and left the offcuts very neatly, for us to dispose of. Altogther we're very happy customers. Thank you
