I chose the Ballroom Dance Academy because of its values, to be a safe place to express yourself through dance, to better yourself at your own pace, focusing on the process and enjoying it, and to dance with intention. Giuseppe and Ksenia are a fantastic team - inspiring as individual artists and when they dance together. I appreciate their supportive and considerate teaching style, especially where things get tough for me physically. I always feel like I have learnt a great deal in the group dance classes because they are explained so well, and you never feel left out. They both really pay attention to each student and know what they need to improve on, and they are patient and helpful to help you get there. There is a healthy balance of going at your own pace and pushing you where they know you can improve. Their private lessons are a great way to really nail any routines and practise what you really enjoy, and really get the best out of you. I learnt routines fast and suprised myself! So far, i have enjoyed every minute. I really found a love for dance and look forward to seeing where it goes with the BDA with Giuseppe and Ksenia's excellent mentoring, teaching and unwaivering belief in what I can achieve. Excellent teachers who really want you to enjoy and improve your dancing skills.

There are many great dancers that teach in the London area, but I have met few who have as strong of a passion, skills, and genuine interest in teaching as Giuseppe. I started dancing competitive Ballroom (proam) with Giuseppe in 2019 at which point I had already been dancing for 12 years. It was a transformative experience! Up to that point no teacher had ever asked me whether a particular move was comfortable for me, and was so open to modifying it to be comfortable to execute while being technically correct. This preps the body to advance your technique and dancing at a more accelerated pace. Giuseppe is also very good at evaluating where you are in your dancing and personalising what you need to work on next to achieve your goals but always doing it within your personal limitations. I would therfore describe Giuseppe's teaching style as compassionate and considerate. Ahead and during competitions he is also strategic and gives just enough things for you to concentrate on before and during rounds. While competitions can be quite intense, I've always found Giuseppe to be a calm and focused presence. I would wholeheartedly recommend Giuseppe for anyone looking to take up proam!

Giuseppe is a dedicated teacher, determined to help you achieve your best potential as a dancer. He is friendly but professional, will talk through what you want to achieve and then help you get there. He dances all styles but his forte is in Ballroom and Smooth; currently I am enjoying learning a Tango Show including Argentine, Smooth and Ballroom Tango techniques. Whatever your level he can help you to dance, as he is a very strong leader and understands what you need to learn in the way that suits you best. I always enjoy my lessons with him. He has made me a better dancer and reduced my injuries caused by poor technique by making me do it right! You will do well if you have him as your teacher and you will enjoy it!
