I have been attending the French for Fun course with Stephanie for 2 years now and cannot imagine ever stopping! She is a first class teacher who makes the lessons fun whilst ensuring that we still do some serious learning. The course materials are already very good but Stephanie regularly adds to them to improve our understanding of a tricky grammar point or to provide additional vocabulary. She seems to have endless patience, encouraging and instilling confidence in her students. I would highly recommend her classes to anyone wanting to learn French, whether a complete beginner or someone wishing to develop their existing skills in the language.

After trying to teach myself French for a number of years I found language for fun on line. I was apprehensive at walking into a class at 60 and worried about my level of French, but I was made very welcome and quickly got used to the weekly structure of the lessons. I struggled to find a class near to me and couldn’t believe it when I’d found a native speaker and class so close to me. Stephanie is very patient and encouraging, and I plan to continue for a number of years. ( sorry Stephanie you’re stuck with me).Mike.

Stephanie tutored my daughter for A level French and was brilliant throughout. She helped her to gain confidence in her own ability and this reflected in her final grade. I would highly recommend Stephanie to anyone looking for an A level French tutor.

I have been having French lessons for almost 2 terms. Stephanie is a super teacher - very patient and friendly. The lessons are very well thought out with good materials including videos online which help to practise pronunciation. Learning alongside other adults is a fun way to learn French and we are a friendly group who support each other. I cannot recommend Stephanie as a French teacher more highly.

We have completed 3 courses with Stephanie and we will be starting a 4th term very soon. The pace and structure of the lessons is perfect and Stephanie is always enthusiastic and supportive. We spent a great deal of time looking for a French tutoring before we found Stephanie and we are so pleased we did.

French for Fun delivers exactly what it says, learning French language with Stephanie is both effective and enjoyable. Stephanie is a native French speaker as well as a qualified and experienced French language teacher. Lessons are delivered in small friendly group sessions whilst there is further support online, which along with the written materials help with consolidation and recall. The courses and the individual lessons are well structured yet room is made for creative and skilful use of the course materials which promotes French conversation amongst the learners within the class; the many grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation mistakes are corrected in a supportive way with good humour. There are various courses for different levels of fluency and Stephanie will help any learner to assess their level and join a course most appropriate for them. Joining a language course.can seem daunting but I would encourage anyone who has an interest and desire to learn or improve their French to consider joining one of Stephanie’s French for Fun courses.
