Ride North - Daily SUP / Paddleboard Hire / Rentals & Sales Snowdonia

Great price to rent out a SUP for the whole day. The gentleman recommended great lakes to go to. We were all first timers and had a great time on the lake. We even managed to stand up! Easy to find the location to pick them up and return. Highly recommended.

Friendly, relaxed, accommodating, knowledgeable about the (many) Snowdonia SUP spots, and helpful.We picked them up early doors on a bank holiday Sunday and got them back a bit late, and they were *still* friendly!

We hired a SUP from Ride North for 2 days. Booking was easy and good prices. Pick up location is conveniently situated in Snowdonia area. Shane gave me loads of advice on boards and safety, an extra buoyancy aid and info on places to go. They really know their stuff. I will definitely hire or even purchase from them in future. Thank you Im definitely a SUP convert!

Fantastic service and friendly staff. would highly recommend renting these to anyone in North Wales! the board was in perfect condition and came with instructions on how to set up and put down. The process was very easy with pick up and drop off. From start to finish, the experience was perfect. Great value for money. The equipment is clearly well looked after.

Ride North was an absolute gem of a find, most SUP hire places when I was looking allowed you to hire for an hour at a time at a set location. Ride North give you 12 hours of freedom with a quality board. Not only that, but Shane is super flexible and allowed us to pick up late (due to car trouble) and even allowed us to keep the boards a bit later so we could watch the sunset. He was very friendly and helpful and made the whole experience a dream and he was genuinely interested in how our day had been and where we had gone.We took the board to Bala lake and had an amazing time. It was really busy but we found a quiet spot further around and stayed on the water until around 8pm.We struggled to get the boards to the recommended 15psi but managed 10-12psi and they were absolutely fine on the water.We’ll definitely be planning on returning to Ride North for our next SUP adventure!Thanks for a fab experience!

After a quick call, we were able to organise two SUP boards and collected within 30 mins! The pack that had the board, paddle, life jacket and pump had everything we could’ve needed and instructions to make it much easier for newbies like us! So great having the freedom to take the boards wherever we want to go with them and Shane gave us some awesome recommendations. Would definitely recommend them and use them for our next adventure. Amazing service and quality of board. Easy pick up and drop off. I had requested an earlier pick up time and they were more than accommodating. Very flexible with when you could drop the board back off too. Would definitely recommend. Amazing price and look forward to hiring the paddle boards again :)

Great experience! The staff are friendly and really relaxed. The price is definitely worth it compared to other places where you hire for just an hour or two. The boards were really good, my husband and I are complete novices and managed to get them pumped up. Had a really good time on Bala lake. (One issue - it would have been helpful to know how the valve works so that we didn't have to re-pump it!). Overall would definitely recommend.
