Maybe the most attractive place of University of Birmingham is its main library. This golden modern building has added elegance with the natural beauty of campus. Lots of books with lots of study spaces are going to blow your mind. Library lounge is perfect for study, eating and talking. You’re definitely going to love this place.

Have studied on the ground, 1st and 2nd floor. I studied at the University of Leicester for 5 years and went to University of Birmingham as an additional destination for studies; has always been a safe haven whenever I needed to go to the toilets, buy anything to eat or pray (Birmingham Multi-faith Chaplaincy). Highly recommend other students from nearby universities similar to mine to check it out every once in a while.

There are no signs anywhere, it's very difficult to know how to borrow or return books. It's even more difficult to find where the subject titles may be. There is a list at reception (Although reception isn't marked) which could be on display in various places to make newcomers feel welcome. If I were a new student I'd feel anything but!!

This is the main Library of University of Birmingham. It’s very big and has enough space to accommodate students in peak hours. The book collection is marvellous , and I could almost find all technical books I needed. Food and drinks are available at the ground floor.It could have been better if there was a coffee outlet that worked 24x7 since the library is in use throughout the night as well.

Have never read a book here but it's a very good place for studying. Has a clean design inside, with a lot of space and charging outlets at every desk as well as rooms that can be booked for group meetings. Only downside is that despite it being quite big, it still gets extremely busy leading up to and during exam season and can be difficult to find a space to sit.
