Following a water leak in our kitchen, Dave replaced all the laminate flooring and redecorated to a high standard. He was punctual, helpful and very tidy. We are very pleased with his work and would happily recommend him. Ian and Sue.

Dave and Co put a new front door (quite a massive one as it turned out..) on our home, and we had them raise a banister on the top floor which required them to copy/replace/extend the spindles on that floor. They did an amazing job and we couldn’t be happier with the work. Lovely team I would highly recommend.

**Used for Kitchen fitting services**From the get go Dave an Don have been superb throughout the entirety of my kitchen installation.As a first time buyer with no previous renovation experience of my own, I found Dave and Don to be very knowledgeable and informative - experience clearly shows. Always on hand to answer any questions, even before they arrived to start the project.Expert carpentry skills managing to cut one piece of backboard for whole side wall of the kitchen. Managed to whittle up an excellent bespoke wine rack as well. Worktop fits perfectly.Left my flat spick and span and trusted with keys throughout the entirety of the project - I will definitely be using their services again and would highly recommend!!

Dave has done a lot of work at my place over the years. He laid wooden floor in 5 rooms, on our stairs and landing, changed a front and back door, and recently fitted a new kitchen. He has always worked quickly and efficiently and his work is neat and tidy. He is always wearing a smile. I have always been very impressed by his skills and I highly recommend him.

Dave fitted a sliding door for us which failed several times. The sliding mechanism he supplied and fitted was either defective or poorly fitted… fairly sure it was the latter. Either way he insisted we pay for the replacement part and he would refit at his expense. It seemed a little unreasonable to us but we had little option and reluctantly agreed. Unfortunately over a number of months he became elusive and failed to show on an agreed date to sort the repair. He was surprised we withheld payment for another job as the door repair has been outstanding for almost 8 months. Tried to reason with him, offered to meet and discuss but ultimately he was only interested in the withheld payment and not repairing his work. Disappointing.

David and Dom recently laid new floors in the dining room and halls, hung new doors and completely refurbished an elderly, dated cloakroom. It all looks fabulous and we are beyond delighted with everything. If you are looking for top quality, high end workmanship carried out in a friendly, helpful way we would highly recommend DM Carpentry & Construction. You can trust them to do a brilliant job.

I cannot recommend Dave and D M Carpentry & Construction highly enough. We needed doors fitting throughout our house (including wardrobes) and a breakfast bar cutting down and fitting. Dave was so helpful right from the initial phone call, insisting on coming to the house to scope out the work to ensure he could give us an accurate quote and that there would be no surprises. Dave was able to source the doors for us at a far more reasonable price than we could find them and was extremely helpful (and patient) when we contacted him with question after question about door handles!!D M Carpentry and Construction will definitely be our first port of call for all future work!

We cannot recommend D M Carpentry & Construction more highly. Dave designed, built and installed a large fitted wardrobe in our home, to meet our exact requirements. He took great care to make sure that the wardrobe doors were in keeping with the style of other period features in our Edwardian house and arranged the shelves to precisely accommodate our storage boxes. He also reinstated picture rails around the house, in rooms where they had been removed by previous owners. At all times, Dave was professional, cheerful and tidy, and we will certainly use D M Carpentry and Construction again for future projects.
