Northgate Vehicle Hire - Bristol

Booked in for a service. Told to arrive early. Arrived 7:50 gates locked.Told it will take no longer than 2 hours. Took nearly 3.

staff very friendly but shockingly slow. booked in for a tyre change at 1330 .1400 van is still in the yard 15.20 told its going tobe another 20 miniutes! not great

Absolute incompetent staff. You have to explain your self to at least 3 members of staff. They are very poor with their service. Been waiting for 30 mins and was told yesterday don’t worry as soon as you come in we will replace the van. Got the insurance sorted the day before and a member called David did not even remember talking to me in the phone. Really disappointed with NorthGate not a good company to go with. Would not recommend.

This is vehicle hire, at its worst. Scheduled services, maintenance, repairs are part of a vehicle's life cycle. The customer service experience is none existent. If it wasn't a fleet vehicle, I wouldn't use them.

Good service from staff but vans a bit iffy had two now and one had to go back as had engine management light keep coming on and fuel Injection error then they couldn't see anything wrong then had it back and had the same issues as well as anti pollution system error then got a 70 plate van had a oil leak couldn't believe it

Poor service and poor waiting room facilities ( no heating on windows open on the coldest day of the year ?.coffee machine but no cups ? The technician lied about a test drive ?. Then they offered a small van ( we have a Luton) as a replacement as our van had to go to main dealer for warranty work ? Which we informed them of So all in all very poor service

Going with Northgate on a long term lease was one of my worse decisions. From the collection of the vehicle to beig a few years in the service has been terrible. There seems to be very little communication between staff and no one actually cares and they are rude when you confront them. So far I've been without a vehicle for 4 days and the service and MOT still hasn't been done ! On dropping of my vehicle the Bristol branch didn't even know my vehicle was booked in! I had to show my text to prove it ! Previously I was without my vehicle for 5 weeks and no one seemed to know what was wrong with it. On collection I refused the vehicle 3 times as it was dirty and had sticker marks all over it. I will be leaving Northgate at the first opportunity! AVOIDEven 1 star is too many.

Brilliant as usual and best thing you can have a laugh with the staff. Everyone seems happy and that makes a difference.

Very friendly staff. Vehicle was modern, in excellent condition and freshly valeted when hired. Price was the cheapest I could find in the Bristol area. Flawless service, would highly recommend.
