It was an absolute pleasure dealing with Lee and the team at NG Direct Car Sales.We are so pleased with the car, and the purchase process from start to finish was super smooth, easy and organized. And just generally speaking the service was top-notch and professional. When we had a minor issue it was dealt with immediately and thoroughly. The team are professional, approachable and friendly, and we will definitely look to get any future cars from them. Highly recommended

Went and bought my vehicle from here. Can say I have received the most open and honest customer service you can receive. The gentlemen who work here never lied about any of their vehicles. Much to their annoyance, we had a LOT of questions, but they took their time and walked us through each answer which is much appreciated as we have been stung in the past. Would highly recommend, great if you’re looking for a run around or first vehicle.

I purchased a 2015 VW Golf R from them in January 2022. Advertised as stolen recovered but fully repaired.2 days after purchasing the car, the engine failed. It sounded like the piston was slapping but it was clear something was wrong. NG Direct were initially very good, they collected it next day and took it to be looked at and would fit a new engine. No actual reason was given for the engine failure but Lee did tell me the car had a remap on it once it was inspected which was the suspected reason for the failure. (At a later point Lee denied in an email there was a remap and that this was hearsay, but the work invoice for the replacement engine clearly stated removal of remap).After 3 weeks I went back to NG Direct and collected the car. I did ask out of courtesy, that the car had an amount of fuel to at least get me back home - but it was returned to me with the fuel light on.I then had the car for roughly a month until I noticed a large oil leak coating most of the engine and gearbox. I’d had enough of the car and asked for a refund under the consumer rights act 2015 after 1 repair attempt had been attempted. Lee at this point became very defensive, and in the end only offered me £13,500 from my initial £14,995 purchase. The car had been in my possession in working order for roughly 45 days total and covered about 1000 miles.He claimed he could reduce the refund for loss of value from another owner, and 45p per mile covered. The industry standard for mileage use alone is 4p per mile, which is what I ended up receiving back in my refund. He claimed the £500 cost to have the car collected was also my responsibility.I sent Lee photos of the car to confirm it was in the same condition he sold it. Lee claimed that the alloy wheels were marked he’d be taking £350 off the refund to refurb them. I said the marks where then at sale, Lee very confidently denied this and said that he is not a liar. I sent photos from the advert showing the wheels in exactly the same condition with the same marks, he stopped responding. Communication broke down at this stage so I began a section 75 claim though my credit card company.My credit card provider asked for an inspection done on the car, done by a VW main dealer. They confirmed it had a large oil leak from where the gearbox mounts to the engine, along with an oil leak at the top of the engine itself. I didn’t want the car repaired by NG Direct again, I’ll also add that when the car was returned to me after the engine was replaced the engine undertray was missing and the ECU cover was missing with bolts snapped.My credit card company agreed to refund me the purchase price (minus 4p per mile I used it for) plus expenses. They only managed to get Lee at NG Direct to agree to buy the car back for £10,000, with them covering the rest of the cost themselves, as otherwise they’d have needed to refund me the full amount and then pursue NG Direct though the court which they would have preferred not to do. My credit card company also confirmed Lee believed the cars issues were down to me being a ‘racing driver’ with it. I refer back to ye previous point that the car was stolen with me being the first owner since it was recovered, so who knows what abuse it had.Thankfully I did receive a full refund as I was entitled to, but my credit card company lost out. After Lee had the car back, he sent me a message with a repair invoice to show the leaks were caused by a gasket not being replaced during the engine install. This just confirmed to me that the repair was of poor quality, and who knows what issues the car would develop in the future.If you do still want to purchase a car through them, ensure you keep records of the advert and all images of the cars condition. I would also advise to leave a small deposit or part of the purchase on a credit card to qualify for section 75 protection.

I've had such a brilliant experience with NG Direct from start to finish. I'm a relatively new driver still and they did everything they could to reassure me about the car, it's condition and the warranty they could provide me. The price of the car I bought was brilliant considering the low mileage and 1 previous owner and they even provided free delivery to my house. I cannot fault any area of their service, they even provided honest advice about the car that I already own which really is invaluable. I can't thank NG Direct enough, and will definitely be recommending them to any friends and family members looking for a good car. Thanks again.

Bought my car for a high market price for what else was on the market and have since had to spend another half of what the vehicle cost me 6 months ago. I've had nothing but problem after problem with this car. I would personally never use this garage again!

Just brought a first car for our sonGreat service and honesty from Lee and all did everything we asked for before collectionI would highly recommend looking at NG Direct if your looking for a first car or a runabout

Brought a car for a decent price and smooth sale, 3 days after the starter motor packed up and the back window fell though, starter motor was covered by warranty but the window wasn't. Tried ringing dealership with no answer rang warranty. Bloke on the phone was awful and very cocky, told us we can pick the part up cheap from anywhere and they could have done it for £40 but it has cost us £134. Said we had not rang about it but have proof, rang one number 16 times no answer. Not willing to help in anyway, refused to repair and refused a refund. So it's us that have to foot the bill, had to have it done asap as put 2 year old child sits next to that window. Lesson learned the hard way!As I cannot reply to you, attached is the proof of the 16 times I tried to ring you on the number on the receipt. Thank you for your change of tune with me, as yesterday you was awful. Also I mentioned on the phone that it was 4 days after my partner had the car about the window but after checking his call log that you say he did not ring it is actually 3 days.
