Prestige Student Living Fontenoy Apartments

The staff here are absolutely lovely. Quality of the rooms and facilities is amazing and the proximity to both the city centre and the University of Liverpool, and Liverpool John Moores University is great! So glad I chose to stay here in my second year.

I'm currently enjoying my stay at fontenoy near the city center. The location remains fantastic, and the staff's positive and welcoming attitude has been consistent. As with any place, minor imperfections are part of the charm, and they continue to make this accommodation a unique and cozy place to stay. I wholeheartedly recommend it for anyone considering a stay in the area.

The room is well organized, clean and comfortable to stay for a long time. Wide window gives a relax and huge screen provides TV program as well. Only thing that I want to let you know is you need to bring your owj pillow and blanket for your sleep. And you may feel it should be brighter because the lights are moody. Anyway, its lovely place to live far away from your home.It was easy to decide to come here and the process to get in was really smooth with helping from the staffs. All the answers were helpful to be informed about this accommodation.

I am currently pursuing my master's program, which spans for a year. After careful consideration, I chose Fontenoy as my accommodation due to the excellent amenities they offer. The studio apartments are spacious and fully furnished, including a mini fridge and TV. Additionally, all utilities are included in the rent, which is highly convenient.One of the standout aspects of Fontenoy is the attentive and helpful staff. They have consistently provided me with a positive experience, promptly addressing any maintenance issues that have arisen.Moreover, Fontenoy's location played a significant role in my decision. Situated right in the city center, it is incredibly convenient for me. Lime Street, a major transportation hub, is only a short two-minute walk away. The proximity to the docks is also advantageous. This central location not only offers easy access to various amenities and attractions but also simplifies my daily commute to the university.In addition to these benefits, there are several recreational facilities. The games room offers a great space to unwind and socialize with regular events hosted by the property's staff. There is an on-site gym as well. Furthermore, the laundry facilities on the premises make it effortless to keep up with laundry tasks.

First, there are some positives with this accommodation such as the current staff who are amazing.However as I write this the wifi has gone off for hours and as there is no reception on past 5, it will likely be like this for the rest of the night in the middle of the examination period.This made me realise that for the amount you pay as a student, you absolutely do not get your moneys worth.- first day moved in microwave and cooker were broken so was unable to eat at all for the first 2 days.- no security on at night which is ridiculous for a student accommodation, seems like an attempt to cut costs. There’s been reports of people breaking into the accommodation and the other day the fire escape was left open the whole night meaning anyone could’ve got in- bin rooms are too small for the size of the property which means they’ll be overfilled and left that way for days-reception only on till 5 which is abnormal for a student accommodation when university can run till 6pm- smoking area right outside of bedrooms so rooms will stink of cigarettes if you leave you’re window open- fire alarms will go off 8 times a week- as there’s no reception, if you have an issue which is not ur fault at all you will need a call out which can take up to 4 hours. At the start of the term my key card had stop working which meant I was locked out for 4 hours on multiple occasionsThis could be a good accommodation as the rooms and design are really nice, but ownership seems to cut costs wherever they can which means it is not worth the price.If you are determined to have a studio you will probably struggle to find nicer rooms than the ones that are here. But if a studio is not essential absolutely do not book this accommodation, book somewhere with 24 hour security snd longer reception hours such as calico, horizon heights or the lantern

Currently studying in my second year here and I absolutely love it! The rooms are quite spacious, I'm in a Premium Ensuite and the space is just enough and the window is right by my bed so you have a great view looking out. The fact you get a TV included is also fantastic, and the kitchenette included is gorgeous. Fab accom.

Amazing place to live I'm in my first year and I've hot to day it's amazing, the room was ready and clean when I arrived all I had to do was just unpack no need to clean. The staff is amazing and a lot of help.

Fontenoy apartments is a nice place to live with a good amount of facilities but I just don’t think it is worth the money for the service to receive. It took 3 days for someone to come and fix our heating after it was broken in the coldest time of the year. Our dishwasher broke on a Friday afternoon and was leaking dirty water all weekend until emergency maintenance were sent out on the Sunday afternoon.Bethany is an asset to Fontenoy. She genuinely cares about the well-being of the people living at Fontenoy and always goes above and beyond to sort out any issues. Without Bethany at Fontenoy, my review would be much lower as she has made my experience here so much better. She’s always around to talk to and has always tried her hardest to resolve any problems we have had.

I am an international PhD student, just moved here 4 months ago. I can definitely say that the place is perfect with new and quality equipments in the room, kind and helpful staff. The security aspect is awesome. The gym in the apartment is useful. Hot water in seconds in both kitchen and bathroom. Just a drawback: walls are thin. You can select this accommodation as a starting point for a new city.

The rooms and amenities are nice at Fontenoy Apartments - as you’d expect for £200 per week - but since moving here in September I have had my fair share of issues with the place.Broken appliances, overcomplicated heating that only works 50% of the time, the fire alarm will go off twice a week and the staff on reception only manage a few months tenure, likely due to the poor management.For the huge cost of rent here, I would expect a lot better from the management team, especially regarding issues with your room as the message seems to get lost in their system.Very disappointed with Fontenoy Apartments, I will gladly be staying clear of the place for next term.
