The finest whisky selection in Orkney, or so I'm told. The food, meat and cheese as well as all the other selections are wide ranging and excellent to taste. Slightly pricier than elsewhere but good quality to hand. The whisky gent is incredible and will definitely help you to choose something to your taste.

The staff are always friendly and the shop carries a nice range of things. A tad pricy sometimes but they have a good range of local products, a Fairtrade chocolate selections and have a reduced basket

The finest foods, fresh produce, and quality local beers and spirits that Orkney has to offer, all in one convenient place. A personal service and a great local gourmet shop. Right in the heart of Kirkwall town centre. Responsibly sourced meat and fish. Tons of tasty treats too! Hampers, fudge, biscuits, preserves, sweets, etc. A veritable smorgasbord of delights to tantalise the senses and the taste buds!

The knowledge possessed by staff on the products they're selling is incredible.Asked a member of staff for a good starter whisky with a lot of flavour and a smooth taste on the way down that was produced locally. The man behind the counter managed to pinpoint the exact one and he was completely correct, it is an excellent dram (Scapa Skiren Single Malt)However, it didn't stop there, he gave me so much advice for getting into whisky and what I should look out for and how to progress.Such friendly and quality customer service!

I am registered deaf but can lip reason and hear slightly in my left ear. The staff here are wonderful so patient and helpful. They make me feel really valued .the produce is always fresh and delicious especially the scallops. Many thanks to Lee and the young lady with dark hair who always serves me.

Rinsing tourists is not a good thing! Seriously, much of their stock is available nearby for a much cheaper price. For example Orkney Fudge £2.68 here and £1.12 at William Shearer along the road-a wonderful shop by the way.

Fantastic service, friendly staff and amazing foods. My partner and I went in to have a look and came out with a range of interesting things for a tasty charcuterie board for our dinner that night. Well worth the money and visit! As a coeliac, I often find it hard to get gluten free products but I found a range of tasty treats and the food was amazing when we got it home!
