Matt Pate Wedding Photography

We had the the absolute pleasure of having Matt photograph our wedding, not only are the photos incredible but he was really friendly, polite and a genuine person. All of our guests commented on how friendly he was. We also had the pre-wedding shoot at Talacre beach with our dog and he made it so fun and easy as we were a bit anxious at first but he created amazing pictures which we were comfortable with and he was great with our dog too. This also gave us the opportunity to meet Matt and see the photos before the big day. We could not recommend Matt enough and would highly recommend the pre-wedding shoot too. Thank you again Matt, you have been amazing!!

Where do we start.. I had seen wedding photographs Matt had completed for a family members wedding and they were absolutely perfect and so it was a no brainer that we would ask him to do the photographs for our big day. From meeting Matt he made us feel totally at ease as he is such a great bloke. We felt from the start that he was completely invested in us having all the best quality photographs that we wished for the wedding including pre shots, him visiting the venue off his own back and also making some recommendations as well based on his experience.Leading up to our big day he was there to have lots of discussions with about the plans for the day and also any changes that happened in requirements along the way. This made me feel like we were in the best hands. Leading up to the day we had a list of the photographs we wanted sorted with Matt and so we didn't need to keep this in our brain at all.On the day Matt was on time, did loads of amazing pictures of the venue and decor and then for the most part was invisible throughout the day in the best way taking loads of amazing pictures without even realising he was there. With group photos he was clear with everyone what he wanted and as a result everyone was relaxed and looked like they were so happy.We got the photographs in a really timely way afterwards and there were just too many to choose from for putting on the wall. They are absolutely beautiful more than we could ever have expected. The main thing he did was tell the story of our day through photos it felt like by capturing those beautiful moments of the day.We would absolutely 100% recommend Matt for your wedding photographs. Matt isn't just an amazing photographer but a very lovely person from the moment me and my husband met him we felt at ease. The wedding day itself, we have never felt so comfortable having our photos taken and the photos were so perfect, looking back at them we felt we re-lived our special day, every moment, expression and feelings were captured.
