This group is very useful for informing people about local and National initiatives and provision of services. The contributors who make up the core of the group often act as representatives and spokespersons on various committees and discussion groups and then feed back to the rest of the people reading the posts. The people are sometimes invited to answer a question to gauge opinion on a wide range of issues such as whether health services have improved or worsened recently, the cost of living, bullying, to name a few. Some of the posts are repetitive and the polls are not necessarily reflecting majority opinion because the respondents are not a cross section of society so they have to be taken with a pinch of salt.

Providing an excellent service to the local community
