Small selection of meals offered. Slightly over priced. Allow a wait for your food. Served hot, service abit slow depending on season, staff friendly,helpful and approachable.

Stopped in for lunch but food service stopped at 3pm so we had cake and coffee which was delicious. Staff were polite and friendly will definitely be back for some breakfast or lunch soon.

Betteshanger park is wonderful but The lamp room wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Me and my family got there about 11.39 and ask for lunch but they wasnt serving until 12 clock, that was fine so we got hot drinks first then ordered lunch at 12. When we got our drinks unfortunately my drink was wrong, I asked for a cappuccino and got a white coffee with chocolate on top, when I advised the lady she just took it away and there wasn't an apologise or anything when she brought it back, she just put it on the table and walked off. About 30minutes late we got our food but there's hardly anything in my mozzarella tomato pesto panini. It look like it all came out of the sides and they didn't put it back in so all I had was a crispy panini with tomatoes in it. I wasn't happy about this at all. The ladies that were working didn't look like they were having a good day.

Inside Bettshanger Park. Really nice Lamp Room cafe/bar with lots of outdoor seating for nicer days. Amazing rustic decor. The Miners breakfast was a tad small for £11. The breakfast brioche roll, bacon very good. Nice oat milk cappuccino. Nice clean toilets, but outside the cafe near the entrance to the centre.

Poor experience. Staff members slow and didn’t seem to know what they was doing. The only member of staff that seemed to be working hard was a young lady with a fringe and arm tattoos that seemed to take charge. Without her my service would have been rated 1 star. Continually asking customers if they was waiting on food or drinks. Surely you would know if an order has been placed. Waited over 45 minutes for food that come out luke warm without cutlery. Child’s sausages not really edible as very pink in the middle and again luke warm so unsure whether safe to consume. When the kitchen doors opened the fries where being fished out by hand(no gloves) from a massive bowl so no wonder they wasn’t hot. I understand it’s the summer holidays but if you can’t keep up with demand then maybe stop serving the food until you’ve caught up? Or informing customers of a wait time.

I’ve eaten here a few times now and the service is always excellent. The food is delicious and good quality, using local suppliers and well worth the money. This is my new favourite place, highly recommend.

Sitting near entrance and counter, ambience ruined by a service/fire door closing loudly with a bang and secondary bangs as staff walk through. Ruined visit as staff needed to use door every few minutes subjecting us to ongoing loud bangs not exactly a tranquil/calm setting to enjoy our £24.50 lunch.Staff unable/unwilling to try and lessen bang . A staff member agreed the noise was annoying to staff too and said they would speak to Manager, however, we finished meal with door still banging and no response from any senior staff. Advice avoid this area or sit outside.

Fantastic place to stop for a drink or a meal.Service was excellent, every member of staff had a pleasant and attentive manner.Food was faultless, there is an excellent variation in choice so you will definitely find something you fancy.Also doing Sunday roasts soon so will be heading back to give them a try.Excellent play area outside for the kids and a really nice outdoor seating area that you can dine at as well.
