I would definitely recommend Baylis Plastering Services. We have just moved into a new house and found that the old plaster was coming away from parts of the walls in the bedrooms so decided to have it all taken down and replaced. We got Steve in to do the work and he did a fantastic job. He always arrived on time, cleared up after himself and his work is superb, a master at his craft. When we come to renovate the downstairs we will definitely be asking him to come back. 5 Star.

Quality craftsman from Steve and David. We asked Steve to do our timber-framed extension, and to skim our stairwell and landing because there were a lot of imperfections owing to plasterboard dot-and-dab" that left a lot of unsightly blemishes.Steve quoted remotely with a thorough and accurate quote that left no surprises

He is a real professional - I was so pleased find him.My job was just a small patching job, but he replied promptly to my initial request and kept in contact with me over dates and times. If I could give Steve a thousand gold stars, I would. He and his brother David did a first-class job of plastering the walls and very high ceilings – 3 metres high– of my kitchen/lounge. He was extremely professional – coming to view the work in Exmouth – within 2 days of my contacting him (having had trouble getting local contractors to respond to phone calls or emails!) and giving me a date shortly afterwards. His communication skills are excellent and inspired confidence from the start. He and David, despite travelling from Torquay, arrived even earlier than promised, before 8am, and worked like demons, without stopping, over two days until the job was done. I was greatly impressed and very grateful that he noticed that the cable for my oven was missing (the builders who had laid the floor had left the cables buried under insulation and tongue & groove chipboard). Steve got the floor up and solved the problem within ten minutes, so that he could get on with plastering. I'm a perfectionist & fortunately so is he. He takes great pride in his work and the end result was flawless. He also fully protected my windows and floor, cleaned up afterwards and left the sockets in a good state, ready for the electrician. He and his brother are also really nice guys. It is a pleasure to be able to recommend Baylis Plastering.

Steve has done a fantastic job of removing our artex ceiling in several rooms. He was always on time, trustworthy and reliable. He was very clean and tidy and really helpful. He was also reasonably priced and great value for money. Cannot fault his service.
