Worst Chinese we’ve eaten. £29.50 for mixed curry with salt & pepper chips, sweet and sour chicken balls with rice and a portion of duck spring rolls (3).Curry has very little meat in and was just full of onions and sauce was runny with no flavour, just coconut.Rice was freezing.Duck springs rolls had zero duck and pretty much nothing in them. Exactly same width as the ones you can buy frozen in party packs just a little bit longer.Chips were really nice - could’ve just went the chippy tho…

Great chinese food, recommend the chow mien, and this is coming from somebody who has never really been a fan of chinese food.Service can be slow, although my visits are typically soom as they open where they are working on their telephone pre-orders.Has a cool new addition of a tv screen in waiting area where you can view the kitchen, suppose it’s something to keep you occupied while you wait.Friendly staff, they even read out your order to you as they hand the food over to double check they’ve not missed anything.

Noticed some deterioration in the quality of the last two takeaway meals. The main issue has been overly thick sauce. This was particularly gloopy on the last chicken with cashew nuts and more akin to thick wallpaper paste. Also the fish quality isn't what it was before brexit. It was my opinion that the haddock fillets sold exclusively were consistently excellent and in my opinion the best in town for a reasonable £3-60. Now however there is never any haddock just cod. The cod fillets are nowhere near the same quality while the cost has increased to £5-20, i've had the cod fillets 3 or 4 times now and will not be buying anymore because they are not good value for money.

Best Chinese in Workington in my opinion. U can see the kitchen and how hygienic it is staff are really helpful and now they do delivery I don't know what to recommend every meal has been bang on so far and we have visited for the past 6 years or so when it opened.

Not as good as Kowloon (I think its the same owners). I had a szechaun main, which wasn't nearly hot (spicy) as I believed it should be. I didn't receive my chips along with my order, and by the time I arrived home and sat down to eat I realised. By this time the store was shut so went without.

Food was very nice arrived early. curry sauce is one of the nicest I've had in a long time just thought was a bit pricey £9.10 for chips, battered sausage, tub of curry and a can of Pepsi. but will be back

£50 wasted. When we arrived home with the food we discovered we were short of a portion of fried rice so had to go back to the shop. The sweet and sour chicken balls were dreadful. The sauce was incredibly thin and had a predominant flavour reminiscent of hot tap water. The chicken in the seven small chicken balls was nice but the batter tasted like an old metal spoon.Beef curry was a thick stodge containing the bare minimum of beef. Fried rice was exactly that, plain white rice fried.Salt and pepper chips were nicely presented but were made from scrappy pieces of potato which had probably been saved over from a previous frying. The worst Chinese takeaway we've had for a very long time.
