Décor-wise it is more like a café than a restaurant, not particularly cosy.Ordered the fish and chips which were OK but definetely not worth the £17 charged.Main courses all seem overpriced for this type of establishment.The wine list is very poor and inappropriately expensive. The wine tasted very cheap.

Amazing restaurant - classy dishes in an elegant environment, and the service was top-notch. We didn't make a reservation, and the hostess was very generous and found the 2 of us a table for 6! The halibut dish and the yorkshire pudding/roast were delicious, and the desserts hit the spot. Totally recommend!!

Still just as lovely as when I used to come with my parents. Really tasty food (the Sunday roast was spot on... tasty beef, crispy roasties, fresh veg, and a perfect Yorkshire pudding). Staff were very friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Glad to see this place is still going strong.

Visited this amazing Cafe/Restaurant on 15th November for a light lunch. Was warmly welcomed and shown to a nice table for two. The ambience was quiet and relaxing. I ordered a prawn sandwich which was served with a side salad. My friend ordered scrambled egg on toast. Everything was fresh and delicious. We had a pot of tea each to finish. A very enjoyable visit. We would definately return and recomend. Many Thanks.

Our group of 7 were looked after incredibly well, first setting us up outside so our dog could join us but then letting us move inside when the weather changed and the dog moved to the car. And then we had some delicious food and spot on service. Thank you so much!

Just been to this little gem for lunch never been before,its a lovely place with very well mannered staff and always checking all is ok and clearing as they go i had creamy cheesey garlic mushrooms with crusty bread side salad and a bowl of home made chips and wow it was scrumptious i will deffo be back 100%

Wonderful freshly cooked food, everything hot and beautifully served. I really enjoyed the home made red cabbage coleslaw.
