Friendly service & amazing food! Walked in at around 6pm, got a table straight away for 2 people. Food arrived quickly, and was delicious! Good portions to. Pudding was also really nice, and coffee is available to have with pudding. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend!

Hungry on a Sunday night after a long walk. Very tasty chicken wings and calamari from the specials board. An excellent sirloin steak with a delicious blue cheese sauce and a burger. Everything served with a good side salad. Attentive staff.

I dont take these things lightly, so when I say these are the BEST FISH AND CHIPS I have ever had - I really mean it. Not many chips, but you don't need them with the size of the fish. The chips are amazing. The fish batter was absolutely stunning. A small pot of mushy peas and a small pot of tartar sauce rounded off one of the best meals I have ever had. The price was £11.50 each lunchtime special with a tea or coffee. Cold drinks were extra (but again were great). The portions were so good I didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. I am thinking of returning to Windermere in the summer, just to go back to Hyltons - yes its that good. Great Service - Great Food !!!

Booked a table online, you do need a deposit of £15 each but that is taken off your bill. We had starters, soup of the day (leek and potato) and the baked Camembert both absolutely delicious. Main dishes we ordered the Haddock (the batter on the haddock is all golden) and chips and The Dirty burger, all cooked superbly. Would definitely recommend and would visit again.

1st visit to the area from Glasgow and came here for lunch today 26/11/23. Food was perfect and the staff where all really friendly. We will be definitely recommend to friends and family. Good relaxed vibe too :)

We ate here twice in our short stay in The Lakes and the food on both occasions was fabulous. We didn’t have to wait too long to be seated ( don’t be put off if there is a short queue it goes down really fast -and it’s worth the wait )Staff are very attentive and nothing is too much troubleWould highly recommend the prawns and calamari in tempura batter or the garlic prawns for starters and you’ll be spoilt for choice for mains , we had pan fried sea bass, seafood pasta in a tomato sauce , beef rib and steak and ale pie - all were equally deliciousHighly recommend

What an amazing restaurant, we have been eating here for year. We have loved everything we've ever ordered, from burgers to the tomahawk steak. Amazing.All the staff are super friendly and super helpful, definitely one to visit if you are the area.The one and only issue is you can't book, but thats what happens when you serve good food.

The food were all good! The pie was my favorite! The toilets were clean too. The only thing bad was the Wi-Fi, it wasn’t working at all.
