Ronan Valley Golf Course

My group was taking our time as we are beginners and still getting the hang of it, owner came out and told us to hurry up then as he walked off he called my friend with learning difficulties slow and simple. He also clearly has issues with people standing up for themselves when they’re clearly not in the wrong as banned us for standing up for ourselves when he told us we’re breaking rules and when we asked he couldn’t tell us which ones we broke which we knew was incorrect as we familiarised with the rules before hand, ontop of that he shouted in an unmannerly tone to “piss off to a driving range” clearly stating that he does not have any care towards his customers and patients to new and possibly returning players.Besides that the course is good and doesn’t take to long so it’s good to waste time however the grass is dying, patchy and an unpleasant colour to the eye.

Good par 3, ten hole course. Some good holes. Greens are OK.

Brilliant wee course, great craic with friends and family. lovely stream runs through the middle of it.Beware of the old man on the small tractor with the leaf blower, he is miserable. There were two groups of 5 going through perfectly fine with delays & he starts shouting at us to split both 5s into threes and twos (twice as many groups now) and we had to wait like 15mins because of that and because he sent one of the folks back to the start to get a bag of clubs because you can't share clubs on this course apparently.All in the name of efficiency but he slowed everything up by 15mins, no joke. was actually hilarious. Poor man, hope he wakes up on the right side of the bed next time we go!

Challenging but very enjoyable par 3 parkland course. Pay as you play, no need for membership. Great value. Have had some good days here (and some horror shows!) but always a story to tell.

I have played here a handful of times now. (And will continue to)The course is well maintained and the owner is very friendly and approachable.Tight enough wee par 3 with tricky greens.Very keenly priced also.

Great course we'll maintained took my son out for his first time on a course he absolutely loved it we will definitely be back

Love this course,10 holes for£5.50 Monday to Friday if you want to go round twice 7.00 hard to beat.

Love this place. Friendly staff and a great course. We only ever manage a few holes at a time as we're very amateur and take the kids with us. It's a peaceful place with great huge old trees and a river running through it. Well cared for greens and thorough fares.

For those who have to improve there short game this course has lots to entertain you with.Water Sand Tree hazards galore.The staff are very friendly and the green fees are very keen.
