Great pub with decent outdoor seating for a sunny day. A good selection of beers, wines and spirits and there’s usually offers on cocktails too

I really like this pub...I had the large fish and chips .the fish was huge and it came with home made tartare sauce .They did offer a choice of a smaller portion which maybe I should have had .Service was second to none and the waitress was very attentive and friendly.Definately recommend this establishment.

Called in for a snck and a drink. Both very good, service was excellent. We were looked after by a very pleasant young lady, Rosie. Good pub atmosphere

After travelling from Southport at 430 arriving at 6 didn't expect to be told food is only served after 630 and later find they took my order at 7. Butter chicken was fine but my son didn't like the lasagne. Said it was gooey on top. Should have asked for it be cooked for longer.But the place is busy on a Saturday after warm weather.Will let them offI go by the place twice a day. It gets busy and is popular.

Breaking off from working outside in the heat, 2 of us had the same meal.We had chicken in barbecue sauce with a cheese topping. Garden peas and proper chips. The food is always good here and the staff are always friendly and give great service. There is plenty of seating inside and outside too and weekends are very busy. A good reliable place for a well varied menu.

Well after coming to the bluebell on Saturday for the first time in years I can assure for me, my family and friends who all came it will be the last!If it wasn’t bad enough that the apparent ‘manager’ well, there were a couple, but the younger girl in particular with black hair, looting about behind the bar and gobbing off with a look of thunder and attitude when asked a simple question, the rest of the bars staff’s unfriendly morbid service to back this up was enough to put me off for life!I have been a hospitality manager for over 10 years so I understand the stress that can come with a busy environment, but my gosh, the faces that you see when you walk into a business, are the faces of the business. Jesus we’re lucky to be alive, try cracking a smile once in a while ! Will not be spending my hard earned cash here let me tell ya!

Went for lunch recently with the Mrs. Food was great. Nice a simple but done well. Staff were really friendly and helpful and food was out in a nice time. Couldn't fault it good, honest, reasonably priced pub food served with a smile for a decent price. What more could you want.

Used to be fantastic, quality of food, the portion sizes and the costs are all now very poor! Pie used to be an individual pie which was brilliant, now you get a portion that is 1/6 of a pie, terrible chips, crazy was like glue and for over £14 you would expect better. All staff used to be smart in uniform, today we were served by a girl in leggings, trainers and a hoodie! Terrible value for money!
