Turned up on Saturday afternoon with a slow puncture, friendly guy on reception fitted me in without a booking and I was back on the road with a new tyre within an hour.

Went in to ask them to check a screw embedded in my tyre. Very friendly staff. Turns out the screw was not causing a problem at all. Screw removed with no charge. Would highly recommend and will use them to replace my front tyres in the near future.

I bought 4 new Avon tyres here ,within 2 years all 4 tyres were cracked in between the tread pattern and perished so now I have to replace them again.But obviously not at this place..Would not recommend!

I was utterly shocked and deeply disappointed by my recent experience at Portsmouth Centre. I had booked a full service and MOT through their website, initially paying £163 after receiving a £70 discount. However, my shock came when I received a midday phone call informing me that my car had failed the MOT due to several issues.The garage claimed that my front brake discs and pads were worn, my windscreen wiper blades needed replacing, the small indicator light was not orange enough, and my antifreeze required replacing. They quoted a staggering £650 in addition to the amount I had already paid, bringing the total cost to over £800.I was taken aback as I had replaced the brake discs and pads only two years ago, with minimal mileage since then. I had also recently changed all the tires, and another garage had confirmed the excellent condition of my brakes. Moreover, I had replaced the windscreen blades and purchased new antifreeze just days before the MOT.When I confronted them with all the previous paperwork and my last MOT certificate, they reluctantly offered a further discount. In the end, I paid a total of £473, far more than the original price, feeling heavily overcharged and deceived. It was evident they had invented additional tasks to exploit me financially.To make matters worse, despite contacting their customer service and being promised a follow-up call, I received no response even after waiting for a week. This lack of accountability and communication only added to my frustration.I will never return to Portsmouth Centre for any future services, not even for a simple job. Their dishonest practices and overcharging demonstrate a complete lack of integrity. I strongly advise others to avoid this garage, as they will exploit and deceive you. My overall experience was incredibly disappointing.

Extreme disappointment with the service my daughter received at Formula One Garage on Sunday. She visited your establishment seeking assistance with her tyre which she was unable to inflate using a portable machine. Unfortunately, the response she received from your staff was not only unhelpful but also extremely rude.Given the long drive ahead of her, we had hoped that your garage would provide the level of customer service and support that we had come to expect. However, the way she was treated, with an unprofessional response that essentially told her to go away

Easy to book mot and service and is the cheapest around and the best thing is. You can pay by PayPal which helps you spread the cost over 4 months at 0%.Update had a service and mot done then I was told I need the front brakes and discs replaced and pollen filter and spark plugs at a cost of £500 not happy then they advised me that my rear brakes & discs need to be replaced & all four tyres one at 2mm,one at 3mm,and two at 4mm asked for a price quoted about £700 I'm getting a second opinion.

Most simple and easy experience I’ve had, straight to the point and jobs done quickly. Would recommend

I had a tyre fitted a few weeks ago and thought there might be a problem with it, however it turns out to unfortunately be an issue with 2 different tyres.The person I dealt with (not sure if he was the Manager) was so helpful and took time to explain the issue, offer solutions and look up alternative tyre costs and didn't charge me for the time they had spent diagnosing the issue.I would definitely recommend Formula One, Portsmouth and based on the service today didn't look to shop elsewhere and went straight online and booked in to have the 2 tyres fitted this week (the cost was also good anyway so it's a win win!)

I had them replace a full set of 4 tyres yesterday and they absolutely violated my alloys. Now I have to repaint 4 alloys too. Nice one
