Eight of us booked for lunchtime festive menu , family catch up . From the booking process to finish customer service was excellent. We all had 2 course festive menu , which was well presented and good quality, as well as being exceptional value . The service from staff was brilliant , friendly and totally organised. We all had a great time thank you ! Happy Christmas to you all .

Arrived and sat at the table, took an age to get served at the bar for drinks.The glasses need changing they were marked and scratched from use.We found the table where we sat to have a sticky feel, I went and asked for someone to wipe the table down, this was done, and it was still sticky.I checked the table next to us, this was the same, sticky and uncomfortable feeling, you did not want to rest your arms, on the table top.We ordered our meal, it took 40 minutes to arrive, to be fair it was hot.We opened the menus and positionedour plates on top of the menus to avoid the sticky table.The fish could have been thicker, but did have a nice taste, but we have had better for the same price at other venues.Could have done with a few more chips, the Tartar Sauce, was creamy, but with very little flavour.When we finished I lifted the menus off the table, it was followed by a ripping sucking sound from the menus being released from the table.If your going to eat there, choose the outside option, assuming weather is ok, No sticky tables, or so I have been told.I think the staff, tried to do their best.We found them to be freindly, but very busy.We were asked if everything was ok with the meal, I can never see the point, once you have finished eating.Price was good, but as I stated previously, have had better, in the same town.

Good honest food served by friendly professional staff.Terri-Anne and Tasha are always on hand to help, nothing is ever to much.Mike cooks up a great lasagne.

What a difference, pleasing and attentive staff since my last visit. Great stop off just of the M5 with electric charge points for the car. Bite to eat and fully charged for trip to Devon.

Visited a few times recently and Feels like this place is going downhill lately. New staff. Some with very poor manners. Food not as good as the one in seven springs.

Lovely family pub with plenty of space, adults food was lovely, we had the chicken selection and burger crown, shared both. Beautiful!One of our kids had the Nacho cheese pasta, was cold. Yes I know you can eat cold pasta but not cold peas!Lovely staff. Lovely atmosphere.Thank you!

Had the Korean BBQ chicken burger which was very nice, gammon steak were also nice. Chicken and bacon wrap wasn't the best used sliced cheese in wrap, grated cheese would of been better.Service was friendly and help, people behind bar also friendly and helpful.

Whilst my family enjoyed their meals, my steak was tough in most parts. What I did eat was good. Hence no complaint to staff at the time. Our table was sticky, and so we're the menus. As it was my sons birthday, I didn't want to spoil the day it was his choice to eat here. I'm not a picky person, just these couple of points to fix and it would be a better review.
