Had a special of the Fish and Chips tea, served with tartar sauce. The fish was an ample sized fillet in batter. This came with a milk shake with cream on the top. A mini cream and jam scone and a brownie served on a slate platter. All for £10 each. Excellent value.

Busy spot and a bit of a destination due to the variety of goods in the main retail part of the business. The foodhall is large and spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. If it's your first visit, as mine was, it can be a bit confusing to find a seat and work out how to order food. There are numerous counters and boards with menus and specials. To order food you have to go to 1 counter where there is some food on display and you receive a receipt. You then have to go to another counter to order any hot drinks or cake etc. You then have to go to another counter with your hot drinks, cake and food receipt to pay for it all. Easy when you how.My wife ordered the special and when I finally discovered how to order food, they had run out of it. I suggest they wipe it off the specials board perhaps if they aren't selling it.It was a bit of a queue for drinks but they were made quickly and by the time I got through that and paid, my food arrived at the table seconds before me. More chance than timing so it could go wrong and you arrive to food that's been sat whilst you queue to pay.Food was nice. I had a Brodie burger and it was well made with quality ingredients and reasonably priced at £13.50. There is generally a large selection of hot meals and sandwiches available. I also seen that lots of their cakes and buns have a gluten free option. Will go again.

Been here quite a lot and it has never disappointed. Food is great especially the Cullen skunk. Friendly service and not a long wait considering how much diner's there are. Very nice building and great choice of Deli food and local produce. We always stop on way to Inverness and home again. Highly recommended

Went for brunch at restaurant, good selection at reasonable prices, meals, light-bites, cakes & coffees, not too busy, disabled parking, toilets & baby changing facilities available, lots of arts & crafts, jewellery, children's toys, pet toys, food & drinks gifts, clothing & footwear, so expect to be there for a while if looking around. Will be back as really enjoyable.

Lovely morning out for breakfast at Brodie, enjoyed the small breakfast which comes with a cup of tea, I’m not a hot drink kind of person so they let me swap my tea for an apple juice. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful! I got to choose the items I wanted, the sausages were amazing butcher quality too! We then had a walk around and had a look at through the store, bought some lovely gifts and even a few goodies for myself! Tickled me to see buckfast chocolate!! I didn’t buy it but so cool! I’m coming back for these sunglasses.. should have bought them!

This is specifically about the restaurant and not the shop in general, as that is a story all on its own.The food is decent and has plenty of options at reasonable prices, so no complaints there at all.Do not expect the best meal in the world but it is extremely efficient self service and freshly cooked in most cases, so good for those that come to visit the castle or the shop.

Food is amazing, albeit a tad expensive. I could have gone mad in the shop but had to restrain myself as the prices were quite a bit above what I could afford. Very very expensive. The Peter Rabbit was £135.
