BEWARE Prices they actually charge are FAR MORE EXPENSIVE THAN SHOWN ON MENU. SO ASK. 25 to 30% more in our case ! Food is nice enough and good quantity. Service was OK although only us and another couple in restaurant. Whilst they are trying in difficult times and welcoming they seem to have just taken it all over from Sands and taken any feeling of quality environment away. It is clean and tidy but just feels basic now. Front of house please remember that even your own presentation matters.. wear a shirt not random T shirts. We won't be going back.. sorry. Please listen to reviewers we do actually want you to succeed.

Not bad. Couple of us had a korma and thought the same thing that the sauce was a bit on the thin side compared to other places we've been. The food wasn't bad we had no complaints, just nothing that made us think wow. Might be other things in the menu that are better. The staff were friendly and attentive, food prices were moderate to expensive, the drinks were not cheap. Seats were comfy, atmosphere was good. They had some weird cutlery that i personally didn't like but others in our party did really like it lol.

I never review, until now… we had high hopes for Shant but sadly, it was not the case. The food was mostly bland yet unbelievably expensive. I appreciate costs have gone up everywhere but at £75 for two people on an very average take away, it was really disappointing.

Disappointing experience from the beginning. Menus sticky. Prices on the menu are NOT correct. There is a sign on the wall saying a slight increase. Nope. It’s a significant increase. Post covid I expect increases. But transparency in menu prices is vital. It’s fair. Be careful. Mixed grill had items missing that we were not advised about. Asked for take away for items not eaten. Chips were thrown in on top and not in any bag. Shocking! Disappointing. Avoid. Stay away.

Top quality Indian restaurant. Not your usual place selling variations on the same basic gravy. Beer in great nick as well.

Service was awful. Food was brilliant.We were served poor quality beer (end of barrel), waited half an hour before drinks were served and then another half an hour before my drink was replaced, asked the young male waiter for multiple things during the meal (drinks, food, bill, card machine) and it was forgotten every time. Saving grace was the good quality food but isn't enough to encourage me back.

Really enjoyed our first experience at Shant! The waiter Prash was really friendly and attentive. The food was so tasty and really good value for money. Portion sizes were perfect and we stupidly forgot to order our rice, which was resolved within minutes. We will definitely be returning and they are also doing the eat out to help out scheme so all food is half price! I 100% recommended :)

The food was very good but highly priced.The staff were very attentive but desperately need to dress to the standard they are aiming to provide. I dress smarter for a visit to the allotment.We were the only cover in a 60 seater restaurant. Not a single other guest arrived during our 90 minutes there. It left us wondering if the rest of the world knew something we didn't.The decor was like the atmosphere, nonexistent. Tables were bare and worn.A prime location in a large village. What a shame.

Went here on the recommendation of a colleague when in town for work, food was fantastic and the staff were excellent, couldn't recommend enough.
